  We stayed at Mama Shelter - Marseille for 2 nights. The rooms itself were full of light and very clean. It is modern and styled for the minimalist, but you pretty much have all you need.   It's a beautiful hotel, well-located near the Vieux Port. Our room was front facing, so had a tiny but lovely wrought-iron balcony overlooking the street. She checked my sister and I in; accompanied us to our room; showed us where the spa and breakfast room were; and told us which elevators took us to the gym and spa.
