  The hotel is situated right in the middle of this wonderful, mediaeval village and everything one needs is right outside the door. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful in every way.   We received a very warm welcome from the owner. When we initially said we didn't want breakfast that wasn't a problem (we changed our minds and had breakfast in the end!). The hotel is situated only a short (5 min) walk from the extraordinary village of Eguisheim. There was a music festival and lots of shops/restaurants/wine merchants!
