  A nice , clean and newly equiped apartment in a chateau which we booked last minute for three nights. We had one for four people but only the two of us. It could be a bit cramped with four adults. Gregory who runs it was a friendly guy . It all seemed a bit disorganised at first but I think this is French way of being laid back.   The owner Henrich went out of his way every day to ensure our needs were met. This is a very knowlegable and engaging hotel owner. Auberge de La Claire felt like a home away from home for us. The rooms are smallish but heck; you're in Honfluer...there is so much to see... we only slept in our room. We highly recommend a stay this coun - We found Henrick to be very helpful w/ restaurant recommendations and reservations (we don't speak French). He even put us in a room that allowed us to just open the door to get to our car and to walk our dog in the morning (w/o flights of stairs!). We'll be staying at this hotel again!
