  Bernice and Norman are a lovely couple who immediately make you feel very welcome and at home in The Porte Valette, which is obviously a labour of love for them. An excellent location in the ancient part of the town. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the attention to detail is very obvious.   It was a delightful hotel with a superb restaurant and good staff making our stay very enjoyable. Lots of mediaeval villages to visit such as the beautiful Coques,and a display of occitan dancing. - The food is wonderful. Our room was comfortable and very clean.
