  Particularly liked the location within easy walking distance of the old town of Charlieu. Also the food was of 'fine dining' quality with extremely efficient & professional waiting staff. - Very pleasant staff, excellent dinner, lovely area. Very much enjoyed our stay.

  Jean Jacques was the perfect host. As soon as we arrived he produced red and chilled white wine and we sat in the sunshine trying to understand each other as neither spoke the others language, and spent the next hour just laughing. The Manoir was amazing, full of antique treasures and furniture. The 4 poster bed was straight out of an historical n... 别人怎么说 » ovel, with beautiful monogrammed linen sheets. I would highly recommend this accommodation for its sheer quirkiness and Jean Jacques was an added bonu - WOW WOW WOW. What a wonderful stay we had at Manoir de Malfarat. The owner is THE perfect host. He has great care for the compound and the buildings aswel as for his guests. He has a great knowledge of the surroudings, and he is great storyteller! Never a dull moment with Jean Jacques! Both of the rooms themselves are a true dream! Highly recommended, for sure we will be back and bring all our friends.

Beautiful gardens with views and good sized swimming pool with sun loungers Great breakfast and you can come and go as you want to during the day - we kept coming back early it was so lovely.
