  Owner ( family owned since 1600s) was great host, took pre-dinner drinks witrh us and gave a potted histiry of Manoir. Went foe walk round grounds and their old dog came too. Needs all thge support they can get to keep the place riunning.   The location is fantastic, but the hotel is very dated, however despite that we would stay again. The food is not bad and the staff are very helpfull. - We stayed in this hotel at either end of our holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful although useful to have a member of the family that speaks French.
