Really friendly owner who speaks good English - he has worked in England. It is a budget hotel in a good location just on the opposite side of the road to the sea, but we could see the sea from our room. We had no difficulty parking in May, but I can imagine that in August you could have problems. There is no hotel parking, just find a space where you can. No TV - what a pleasure not to have the TV monster looking at you from the wall - a real plus for us! The food was good artisan food, but w.
所有评语 » We liked everything about this place. The room was bright and clean with views over the beach. The owners were friendly and keen to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The restaurant in the hotel is a delight offering a small menu reflecting seasonal produce all at a reasonable cost. Even if you don't stay here then try the restaurant. There are many things to see in the area (by car). Our stay here was a highlight. Great little hotel just a few steps from the beach. The Patrons speak very good English and all staff very helpful thoughthey get pretty busy at lunch and dinner times as the food here is excellent and of outstanding value. Help yourself buffet breakfast with good croissant and fresh bread, cereal, yoghurt etc. Food was excellent. We liked the choice of smaller dishes which were freshly made. We had requested a sea view and our room had this. A most enjoyable stay. Friendly welcome. We would return. Distance to the sea was very good. Very nice hotel staff and speaks very good English. The rooms and plumbing definitely need a refurb but beds etc very clean so no complaints. There's nowhere to keep bikes securely inside but the landlady allowed us to bring our bikes in overnight and put them in a small courtyard. Loved the hotel but was a little tricky to get to and from. Would recommend planning/ figuring out how to het there ahead of time if going by public transport. the walls were paper thin. Maybe a kettle and coffee and tea to make yourself a brew. Breakfast not included, and the price per person is exaggerated. The information on their website indicated that a shuttle was available from the airport. This was cancelled the day before our visit when it was too late to cancel costing us €25 for a taxi. We did get a lift back to the airport form the but at a cost of €10. This cost is not made clear when booking. the bathroom was very cramped and if I were a large person I would not be able to use it. Shower was stone cold. no bar open when wanted.
