Great guest house run by the fabulous Simone, Who spared no effort in making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay even waking early to prepare breakfast for us before our early train even though breakfast was not officially served until later. Well located just outside la cite with only a 5 minute walk to reach the old city. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were impeccably clean. We Will definitely return to this guest house.
所有评语 » This place is a box of delights wrapped in a plain paper wrapper. Driving down the street its easy to miss the sign over the door but when you ring the bell the double carriage doors open to reveal a real gem of period property with Simone, the smiling owner, pointing us to our secure parking spot. The rooms are individually styled to suit the centuries old building, but with comfortable beds, some of them four poster. The location was excellent with secure parking. Shabby Chic without the Shabby - beautifully furnished and comfortable. Our room and the breakfast room / salon were superb and the breakfast was memorable with a nice variety of tastes on offer, all of which was overseen by madame (Simone) who was very attentive at all times. We certainly recommend the experience of Cote Cite to anyone but not really suitable for children. A real surprise. Lovely room across the courtyard from the main house. The pictures show it all. Fascinating interior. Breakfast was fine and included. A short walk into the old walled town. Secure parking worth the small charge. There was a brocante market on the day we arrived which made it impossible to get the car there until 7.pm, but just a small problem that didn't spoil the stay. Highly Recommended!. Everything !!!! This is a lovely place to stay just out side the walls of Carcassone. The host is wonderful and very helpful!! Speaking a little French would be an advantage but even with us speaking very little French she was still very helpful!! The rooms are wonderfully typically French and the Breakfast room is enchanting. Would recommend this to anybody. This was a beautiful B&B within a short walk from the fortified city. We did not speak French and she did not speak English but we managed to figure everything out. She let us keep our car there for a few hours after checking out and breakfast was simple and delicious and beautifully laid out. My little boy loved the little dog running around :). We were so impressed with the fantastic and courteous service, the great location and the beautiful rooms of this B&B. Carcassonne is a fantastic place to visit, and this is the place to visit it from. I will return here in the future, and will always recommend it to friends. Very well appointed for walking up into the citadel of Carcassonne. Courtyard parking provided - and parking is essential in that area! The owner could not have been more accommodating or welcoming. Nice breakfast - plenty to eat and plenty of choice. Would recommend it. The owner was was friendly and gave us many useful information about the Cité Médiévale, photo opportunities and restaurants suggestions. The location was walking distance to the Cité and near to the lower town. The breakfast was very good. Definitely recommended. Lovely hostess, Simone was extremely welcoming. The Cote Cote was a great find. Amazing value for money, excellent facilities and lots of charm and character in this superbly located hotel. Would definitely recommend Cote Cite to others. Fantastic B&B. Simone was a gracious hostess, her recommendations for places to eat were perfect, mention her name and get a free drink. Very relaxing, great common area with excellent wi fi, the rooms were beautifully decorated. The included breakfast was delicious. A spacious room including ensuite. The elctric blankets were also greatly appreciated especially during they very cold weather experienced during our stay in mid February. The breakfast was varied the atmosphere of the room delihgtful. Beautiful boutique B&B with extremely friendly owner, Simone who did everything to make our trip enjoyable and memorable. It was minutes walk away from the fortified Cité and also a short stroll to the lower town of Carcassone. This is a beautiful hotel, and Simone is a wonderful hostess. The rooms are absolutely charming, and it is a short walk to la cité or across the bridge to la bastide. There were so many little details that made it a perfect stay. The cote cite was absolutely beautiful . Old world French charm , with a warm welcome . It would be wise to learn a little French as no English really spoken there but hostess willing to gesture to get point across , very helpful. Simone very personable. Room was excellent. Off street parking good (although no mention of 5 Euro charge for parking was made on letsbookhotel.com) Very lovely homely place. Interesting, quirky hotel with plenty of space, great location, nice breakfast, helpful owner let us keep our car in the parking area after we had checked out. location to old city was excellent. the decor was very old french style and the best setting ive ever sat down to breakfast in. very quiet and laid back. Very close to castle and easy walking distance of shops. Large rooms. it was a beautiful hotel with a lovely hostess centrally located and right near the castle in Carcassonne. It was close to the Cite and Castle. Carcassonne was impressive but the B&Bl was not. Nothing. The bathroom arrangements (though on suite) are typically French and therefore not the best but in this case adequate. Within the walls Carcassonne was very busy on 2nd Sept. so I would imagine it's rammed in August. A must-see place but very touristy and expensive to eat. We didn't like the fact we only stayed one night !! : ). The entrance was a bit tricky to find on a one way street and with no obvious front door. Look for the intercom on the left of the parking door!. Having to leave... It's a great place, only regret was not booking longer stay. Would stay longer for longer next time!. Nothing. Not having the facility to make a drink of tea/coffee in the room. Nothing, really. In a sense it would have been nice for the wifi to be available in our room, but it was also good to be away from the internet too, and have to go to the hotel's common area for connexion. Was a little disappointed with breakfast , no fruit or cereal but what we did have was lovely . Breakfast was a little inadequate with only one croissant per person. The room facing Rue Trivalle is noisy even at night. Nothing!. Very small toilet cubicle in the twin room. We had the rooms in the same house where the owner lives (the rooms are upstairs together with the bath); this may raise some privacy concerns (if you care about this...). The rain on our first night. nothing it was perfect. Some of the decoration not to my taste. nothing!. smell of must in bedroom. Advertised as speaking a little English and Spanish but actually only spoke French. Breakfast was ok but very little available. Felt like the owner didn't really want people in her home. I would not recommend this B&B..
