Location of the apartment in the medieval city with so much atmosphere. Spacious room and comfortable beds
Friendliness of the local restaurants and shop keepers. Not over priced
Excellent bus and Le petit train service at very low cost. from La Citee to the lower town and close proximity to Carcassonne airport.

The location of Pech Mary Apartments was fantastic! Central location in the old walled city and still an easy walk into Carcassone town. Decor was attractive- kitchenette had everything we needed, lovely bright airy room with views over rooftops. Friendly staff. 所有 评语 »
I liked having my own apartment, with cooking facilities. Loved the thoughtful touches such as milk, butter, jams and a.bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Loved being collected from the station. It was cold and dark.
Liked being in the middle of the Cite, particularly as windows faced away from the main square, therefore it was very quiet in the appartment. It met our requirements well and was as we expected.
It was in a great location and was very clean.The staff were friendly. Lovely welcome pack of champagne and local sweets as well as much needed tea coffee and milk in the fridge.
The friendly welcome from Florence and the central location in the medieval fortress. It was clean, warm and very good value for a weekend break.

Although free parking is available for people staying in the Cite - it is a bit of a way from the appartment -.which does not benefit from a collection service like the hotels.
it was small -only one bedroom not much in the way of crockery for an older family, no washing machine although there was an iron, no utensils to clean the apartment with ie a brush!.

Parking, but you are in a castle, so parking in the moat is a must.

On arrival, be sure you have a map to locate the Pech Mary site. Entering the main gate, to the right is an associated Pech tea shop where you can get directions
Carcassonne parking arrangements are very challenging - I was there for 4 nights and still don't understand the parking/ hotel mini shuttle bus arrangements.
Pack lightly and be prepared to move your own luggage.
