The manager, jerome, is an excellent host, friendly and helpful and his English is a lot better than my French. This is a perfect place to stay for the beach landing sites and its biker friendly. My third time this year. I was traveling with two others and we had a triple room for one night. The accomadations were great the man at the front dest was very friendly.Restaurant, secure parking, pleasant area of town, friendliness of staff.

Great value for Money, the rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, the location excellent for Caen Memorial and touring. The staff were very friendly.Overall good value for money and friendly staff. It was a beautiful place, a very clean and simple room. The hotel is in a great location near the Museum and on the north side of town with easy access to Normandy Beaches.The guy on reception when we arrived was extremely helpful and cheerful. esthetic simplicity, at a good value for the money.Locati0n, price. Staff were the nicest people and helpful, breakfastgood and substantial. I required a room for the night before traveling on. It was easyto book etc. No frills. We had a double bed and a double bunk for 3 people, so it was roomy.The price. The fact that the hotel has family rooms. good location once I found the place. Good parking, easy access. Friendly staff.The fact the car park was locked at night. Central, and good value generally, the breakfast was good value.Clean sheets and very friendly staff. No. The facility for making tea/coffee would have been a bonus as the site of the hotel was nowhere nr a cafe.The restaurant was closed the evening we arrived which was annoying as the hotel is fairly remote. The wi-fi, while free, didn't work. The ceilings were thin, so we heard the person upstairs a lot. The bathroom is pretty small.We had noisy upstairs neighbours... could not get wireless internet on my laptop - host not computer savy. Desktop version at hotel okay for one day only - then down also.The shower curtains stank, was mouldy and was worst when wet. Needed airconditioning 4 in a room if opened window got road noise. We could not book in on Sunday afternoon through the computer systemoutside the hotel and had to wait for one and a half hours for a personto turn up. Also the shower door did not fit well and so the floor andcarpet got wet, there was no signs to show a guest how to avoid this.The carpet, once wet smelt horrible, this was not nice!. Would have paid extra for tea or coffee facilities in room. Insulationnot good in room next to stairs, heard every footstep and word of otheroccupants. Slim walls and ceiling made it very noisy. Especially with buses ofguests arriving a 3.30am. Also the wi-fi network was not accessible. Room was not serviced after our first night (i.e. bed was not made and towels were not changed). Hotel pillows were extremely thin and the second towel was only half size.
