The welxcome was absolutely superb and the level of personal attention really impressive. The room, newly decorated was first class, the breakfats delicious and the quality of staff extremely high. it's location was central and within easy reach of the town shopping centre, the room was light and airy and the shower/bathroom was great. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff.Ideal location, clean and well maintained, also we were late for breakfast but they kept breakfast aside for us!.

There was no kettle in the room, and although the owner was willing to make me coffee, it would have been nicer to be able to make my own. Air condition would be nice during the summer months since the busy road even during the night doesn't allow windows to be kept open.Parking not on site but OK. Parking nearby was expensive.parking no good. Some street noise on Sat night but not as bad as my snoring!. When we first ran the bathroom taps there was a strong smell of bad drains. The wash basin was ridiculously small and the water ran all over the bathroom floor whilst washing. The breakfast only had cheese slices to go with the bread and crousant - some meat or eggs would improve the choice significantly. The bed was fine, butI cannot sleep on plastic sheets. I would prefer a natural, breathable barrier to protect the mattress.Shower door stuck badly. Tea / Coffee in the rooms would have been nice, but after reading previous reviews we took our own with a travel kettle, so no probs. A shower curtain would have prevented a wet floor each morning, but only a minor observation.Bit noisy from the traffic. Beds not overly comfortable and sheets bit threadbare but all in all not bad.Room was a bit tired. Restaurant area was very small. The roomswhere very basic but clean.It was very hot during our stay and the room became very warm.The hotel is situated in a busy main road so leaving the window open was very noisy.The room would benifit from air conditioning or a fan at least.
