Since there is no elevator, and I was staying for just one night traveling with a heavy suitcase following a business trip, I was offered a room on a lower floor and the staff carried my bag to the room.   The owners of Le Gamaritz were extremely friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations for restaurants and places to go. The accommodation was comfortable. We stayed in a family room which had a double bed and 2 pull out beds which were actually really comfortable.   The hotel staff were excellent and the position on Milady good - not too busy with access to a nice beach - The restaurant had a good range of food, and it's very resonable if you take their menu of the day. The proximity to the highway was excellent if you're using Biarritz as a base.

  We so enjoyed our stay. Old fashioned for the ambiance and modern where it was needed. Such a pleasant change from the anonymous modernity of most hotels. the owners were delightfully helpful and friendly. We so enjoyed it we spent an extra night there. highly recommended, we'll being staying again if we visit Biarritz. - The staff were incredibly helpful and very nice. The location was absolutely perfect and, although the parking was on the street and as you could find it, we managed to get a spot right next to the hotel. The room was very big and lovely. I loved the separate 'walk-in-robe'. Such a gorgeous town, a pity the weather wasn't very good. Definitely a place I will be going back to and this is where I would stay again.
