The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of area and attractions. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was adequate and inexpensive at 6 euro per day. Location was great! 20-25 minute walk down a nice, well-maintained path along side a brook to the town of Bayeux where you can visit the Bayeux Tapestry. I drove to St Vigor where hotel is located and could park free in front of room. Also easy commuting distance to Caen, Mont-St. Michael, and the Normandy beaches.
所有评语 » The very friendly staff and car parking. Accommodation is in small chalets with parking outside the door. We were given a choice of 2 twin beds or a double and either a bath or a shower.Excellent breakfast at 6 euros. We had a lovely 25 minute walk along the river to get into the town centre. As a budget hotel it is very good. Bayeux centre easy walking distance, great location for the D-Day beaches. Great value for money. The location was excellent, and the room was quite comfortable and good value. Very helpful staff On outskirts of town Twenty minute walk On site restaurant. Very quiet locatiobn. Staff. We were able to walk beside river into town (though path unlit at night on way home) Very quiet location with bar and restaurant on site. Very informative and helpful man at reception. Soft white towels and fresh linen. Very friendly staff, good Wi-fi, good food - suprisingly good breakfast for the money. Room was a bit small but adequate. Manager very polite and friendly. Quiet location near town. The room did have a musky smell since there aren't any windows and the exhaust fan for shower was inoperative. Not having a shower curtain was a little unnerving but manageable. However, by leaving sliding glass door open for a bit after shower alleviated the smell by dissipating moisture. The permanent fix would be to repair ventilation fans. The room itself was quite small. No windows, but does have large sliding doors,no brew kit so do as we did and take your own. The breakfast wasn't to my liking, not much effort put into it. Centre was not walkable with elderly friend. Not as close to town as i thought. We were a little concerned that when asked to pay upfront for the two nights we stayed but it turned out fine Room basic and a bit retro (seventies holiday camp) in style but clean and tidy. The advertised "private terrace" was quite crowdy, because everybody was sitting outside of the room, where was no space to sit. There was no privacy at all with about 3 m between the rooms. Location a bit too far from centre of town. Basic cafe facilites, no staff servicce.
