The guys here are amazing they went out of their way to make sure we were relaxed after we had had a bit of a nightmare, losing my debit cards and my phone was not working. My son hurt his leg go karting and Mathieu got us an ice pack and helped me order a take away menu from the restaurant we had hoped to dine in - and then went to collect it for us as my boy was resting up. We only stayed the one night, I wish I had booked for the previous night as well. It was a safe haven and we felt extrem.
所有评语 » This place is absolutely gorgeous, the owners are lovely, so warm, friendly and helpful... they clearly are passionate about their business, and work tirelessly to make it a welcoming, comfortable place to stay.. If you dont choose the breakfast option make sure you treat yourself to it atleast once, it's fantastic!! We were really happy staying in the old town, but did make our way to the beach everyday.. despite Matthieu's best efforts we got hopelessly lost the few times we tried to walk th. The hosts were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and we were helped with every aspect of our stay most convivially. Breakfasts were an absolute delight and the setting in the square was perfect! The room was immaculate and clean towels were provided daily. We tried to book again but they are full until the end of Sept ...sadly for us but deservedly so for them! We will return without a doubt. Great hosts! The 'petit dejourner' every morning was a wonderful start of our day. Besides that, Jonathan and Mathieu provided us with great tips on where to have dinner and get some good wines! Beds are great, rooms get cleaned every day and the hotel is situated at the lovely square in the middle of the town. It was an absolute delight to stay there!. Charming, delightful, tastefully restored and decorated, and a perfect place for a peaceful break. Our hosts were hospitality itself, and provided a locally-sourced breakfast with their own personal touch and a smile! There is no ready-made description for it (see 3 above). We will return and highly recommend it. Excellent and personalized service. Breakfast was a bit limited in choice (no yoghurt, muesli/cereals, ham, eggs, etc.), but what was offered was prepared well and tasted great too. The rooms were comfortable and well decorated and overall, the place gave a vibe of simple but pleasant relaxation. Mathieu & Jon were so friendly, charming, accomodating, helpful and nice. The room was ideal and spacious for 2 people, immaculately clean. The breakfasts were brilliant, beautifully presented. Loved it, and we had a view over the town square - excellent location. We liked the cleanliness of the hotel, the perfect situation just in the middle of the village, the friendliness of Mr Mathieu who received us nicely in spite of arriving late at night (22h). and the view over the little "place de la Republique" which was charming.. The location is very good. Lots of free parking space near by. Nice and spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Staff is very attentive and friendly. The breakfast is very good as well. (nice surprise with the pancakes :-) Would definitely stay here again. Hosts are amazing, nothing is too much trouble, building is a classical typical French home, breakfast is something very special and Mathews coffee is to die for, a truly great place to stay and look forward to returning. The place is really cozy and confortable. Everything was very clean and you could notice that they put an effort on small details. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. This hotel was a real gem. The owner was incredibily kind and helpful. We so enjoyed him and his hotel. <he did everything he could to make our stay pleasant. We wish we could have stayed longer. The owners were super-accomodating and the location is superb. The old building has been beautifully restored and provides a great deal of comfort. Breakfast outside in a square was delightful. Helpful so clean and pleasant. Location in heart of village Warm welcome. Every thing. My only suggestion would be to include hanging space in the wardrobe. A part of our room ("small double room") on the topfloor had a low ceiling, which can be inconvenient for taller travellers. This can be prevented by booking another room. The only problem was the difficulty of the narrow one way streets in Argeles when we first encountered them, but having fathomed them out the first time - from then on, it was fine. we should have stayed longer, there is nothing to dislike. There was nothing not to like. this hotel was an amazing find. Though the place is easy to reach, one should study a map, park near the river, and walk to L'Hostalet. Relying on the (accurate) coordinates and a GPS can lead to an unpleasant trip through tiny steets blocked by parked cars. The sloping roof on the top floor but it did add to the character. Nothing to dislike!. nothing. Nothing. Being mistaken as a Yorkshireman by the owner when I'm actually a Lancastrian. Unforgiveable!. Stayed in small room at top of house with sloped ceiling - bumped head on ceiling a lot!. nothing to dislike. -. Not a problem, but bathroom is small. Nothing.
