The self-catered facility was fabulous ..save and secure and very
comfortable. The owners had tried really hard to make sure every need
was catered for and the place was enjoyable ...even to the jar of sweets
on the coffee table!!
Probably the only drawback was no lift and was a walk up ... no trouble once settled in but was a long wat to take the heavy bag on arrival and deoarture ...but on arrival the owner and her husband gave he keys and then took luggage upstairs for me ...and the apartmen. 所有 评语 »
The location was great, right next to the old town of beautiful Annecy. The apartment was newly furnished and very stylish. It had everything we could need, including maps, wifi, a kitchenette with coffee machine, and a fantastic bathroom. Pauline was really kind and helpful, writing to me as soon as I made the booking, and she waited for us outside the apartment even when we were late. She has thought of every little detail, even a personal welcome message on the blackboard wall in the kitchen.
Funky design and well thought out layout for a small apartment. All really new and clean with quality fittings throughout. Fantastic location right in the middle of Annecy within 10 mins walk to the lake and 5 mins to the station. The old town with lots of restaurants also only 5 mins walk away.
Comfortable flat in very central location. Pauline the owner is very
helpful. Annecy is a lovely place. Hire bikes from the train station if
you have arrived or are departing by train as it is only 5euro a day .
Otherwise it's 12 euro for 2hours.
Walk up ...no lift in old buildings. Apartment on 5th floor.
It didn't worry us, but the apartment is at the top of several flights of stairs without a life. This might be a problem for other travelers. Also, if you are driving there is no free parking in the area, but this is the compromise you make to have such a great location.
Central location means it was often noisy at night. We were there in July and it was really hot, so had to put up with the street noise at night in order to allow cool air in.
Flat is in the attick on the 4th floor. Very steep, narrow stairs, you
need to be fit to stay here. Public transport bus and boat very limited
,you need a car to travel out of the town.
