I loved the welcome and option to take the room or not even after booking it. The hotel and room were charming. The towels in the bathroom were fresh and fluffy, not often seen even in hotels with more stars. The room decoration was simple but with attention to detail. The balcony outside the room overlooking the courtyard was a nice addition. This hotel could not have a better location. It is therefore surprising that the price is what is. The reason for the price is that some aspects of the rooms are slightly basic. Doesn't bother me, as if it were better I couldn't afford it. Albi is a beautiful city that is a delight to walk round.
