We as a married couple found Domaine de Merete as a captivating place..Our ideal place to stay while we visit Lourdes our favoutite MARIAN shrine ever.We found it as a very friendly and relaxing get -a- way.Highly recomended by us. Jean Jacques amazing cooking and Merete enchanting humour and personality added to our stay. We will be staying there again. A home away from home.

We used this as a stopover on a motorcycle tour of the Pyrenees. When we checked in, the lady could not have been more helpful in offering to carry helmets, bags, jackets etc to the room and showing us the facilities There was a gentleman there who spoke superb english (who was also a motorcyclist) who was able to give us local knowledge on the times of the road closures for the mountain passes due to maintenance. Although this resulted in us leaving the hotel very early the next morning before
