This is a beautiful hotel, with a lot of fine personal touches. We stayed in the "The Nest", which has an amazing view overlooking the lake with a private patio and pool. The "Nest" is outside the main hotel property, just a brief walk away, however I would recommend you wear good solid shoes as the roads are uneven cobblestone, and could make for a bad fall for those not paying attention to every step. The owners are very friendly, and caring individuals who go out of their way to make their .

It is an incredibly beautiful hotel, with an amazing collection of art. My room was large, the restaurant and pool were wonderful, and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and more than willing to go out of their way. My special thanks to the lovely lady who was on the desk when my son called me You cannot make or receive cell phone calls from the phone in the rooms. She figured out a way to connect us, for which I was very grateful, since I was barefoot and in my nightgown and in.
We loved the personal attention (Almos customize by guest) we received from the moment we arrived at the hotel. We were 5 adults, 2 pets and the deal was phenomenal. The facility, transported us to the colonial past of this city. Gilberto is a great support in this place, I think he is a key employee that provides the best experience around the hotel and the town.
Beautiful setting, courtyard and rooms; incredible decor; relaxing atmosphere; excellent food and service. You can just hang by the pool or the staff will coordinate any activity or tour you would like. A walking tour of Suchitoto by local guide Luis Carranza of Sapito Tours is excellent for town history and finding your way around.
The staff were the most friendly ever! Whatever we wanted, they supplied. The rooms were very comfortable. The pool area was very clean and inviting. We ate at the on-site restaurant 1 night and it was delicious. It is in a perfect location to be able to walk to the town square and enjoy everything local.
Probably The Best hotel I ever stayed in. I love The personality of The place, The rooms, The staff and The hotel enteritior. All Executive with perfection. Not crowded, but perfectly tranquillo. I have already recommended it to everyone I've met :).
The owners live there and have created a "salon" atmosphere. It is well designed with art pieces and ceramics sprinkled throughout the hotel. We loved it and hope to return soon. Experiencing Suchitoto at Easter was magical and unforgettable.
I liked the traditional way of decorating the room in an equally traditional setting. The staff was cordial and amicable. Service was good. I would go back again. Good ambient.
Its such a beautiful place to stay, comfortable, caring staff,I would highly recommend this place and beautiful town.
Wonderful Colonial City of Suchitoto but close to excellent countryside and archaological site of Chihuatan.

1) I wish the Jacuzzi pool could be heated when desired. 2) Unfortunately I guess it goes with the territory, but there seemed to be a lot of bugs and lizards that got into our room. 3) Lastly this is a personal opinion for me, In hotter locations, I would love for hotels to offer as a service to go into your room shortly before you arrive, and get the room cooled off.
The pillows are hard. And I really do think they should do something about the room phone service. It can't be that unusual for someone without a cell phone to be getting calls from someone with a cell phone.
Additional charges per person in the room not previous specified in the web site. It took us by surprise!.
There wasn't anything negative about our stay!!!!.
However th pool did not seem to be clean, the water was slightly milky looking.
No negatives if you are prepared to travel by bus as taxi from san salvador or airport expensive.
Don't trust the ice cubes.
There was nothing I disliked.
