  The hotel was really nice for the price you pay. Rooms were cleaned daily, fresh towels and sheets as well. The stuff at the front desk was friendly and helpful, especially Frank, just make sure you ask someone who speaks English.   I plan this trip to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday, upon arrival we were given champagne as we awaited our butler Rudy. Rudy was amazing he showed us around the hotel and all they have to offer. Our room had a banner on the door stating "Happy Birthday" which my girlfriend loved.   I absolutely loved my stay at the Catalonia Royal Bavaro. From the staff, to the decor in the rooms, spacious rooms, walking distance from room to the beach, drinks, food..everything was awesome!
