  Absolutely loved this hotel. Didn't know it was a renovated convent. Very close, but extremely quite location. 3 minutes to the castle and about 5 to the St. Charles Bridge. Perfect, newer, quiet, clean and restful. I highly, highly recommend this hotel. I especially LOVED the breakfast area...3rd floor attic with tons of character.   This is a truly excellent boutique hotel, perfectly positioned close to the Old Town in Prague. We are seasoned travellers as this hotel is one of the best we've stayed in.   We loved everything about the Alchymist. We had original booked at their sister hotel but because we were travelling in a group of four there wasn't enough room so the upgrade us to this hotel. All I can say the staff were excellent, I emailed on how do we get there from the train and they sent a driver to pick us up and it was complimentary.   The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It is located on a quiet street at the west end of the Charles Bridge with a park on the other end opposite the bridge. As other people posted, the location within the city could not be better. It is a 30 sec walk to the bridge and the location felt very safe and secure.   The charming hotel built in 1730 is extremely well located at the castle end of the famous Charles bridge just around the corner on a quiet side street.
