  The hotel is located right on the waterfront. It is close to the active part of Split. It is near the major attraction, Diocletian's Palace, a unesco protected site. Buffet breakfast is included. - This hotel couldn't be in a better spot, right in the centre of Split, not far from Diocletian's Palace, and, more practically, close to the bus, train stations and ferry port. I much appreciated one of the cleaning staff putting a fan in my room and turning it on during the day so I could get a good night's sleep on a hot summer night in Split- and, boy,that's hot !   I came in October during the off season, was a bit apprehensive due to other reviews - pleasantly surprised though. When I was here this place was cleaner, more comfortable and more spacious than you would expect for the price. Its great value and a great location. Showers were fine- no leakage. Great that it has a lift- no stairs. Very clean and comfortable. Separate toilet, shower and sink to avoid queues for the bathroom among 8 people. The hostel's buffet breakfast is only 37 kunas (5 euros) and is very tasty. Located around the corner from the main high street Marmontova, and close to both the sea and restaurants/bars.
