The owner put a lot of thought and care into all the finishings here - great floors, lovely modern bathrooms, comfortable beds and excellent bedding. There is a terrific communal balcony and common area, books and beach towels available, an excellent location near lots of very good restaurants and a very very short walk to the Riva and the Palace, as well as right at the beginning of the Marjan Peninsula (Mestrovic Gallery, beaches, hiking...). I would not hesitate to stay here again next time .
所有评语 » What a superb stay we had here. Accommodation excellent, clean and comfortable beds, great shower. Very generous and friendly host who gave us so much information on Split and ferries to islands. House is in centre but not noisy and some rooms have beautiful balcony looking out over very old rooftops. There is a room where fresh fruits and coffee and tea are available on the house and access to internet and books available. We will definitely return to this accommodation. Perfect: 10/10! The captain (ie the owner) is very welcoming, chatty, gives you the best advices and offers you all you need to have a great stay in Split: breakfast is included (with fresh products), the room is modern, clean and beds very comfortable (Belgian mattress), situation is optimal, at 200m from historic center in a quiet street. Go there, you won't be disappointed. PS: you have free parking in a street close to the residence. very useful. The owner, Niksa, is the most sweet, generous and intelligent man we have ever met on our travels. His house is wonderful, and he has put his heart and soul into it in every way. You can tell that he loves life and his business is sharing that love. Everything was perfect from the gratis wine, food, coffee.... The wifi and the satellite TV were definitely pluses to keep us connected with the ever changing world. Niksa is the best. Crazy and kind and truly a beautiful man. He met us at the station even tho we said we didn't need to be met. He shared stories and gave me two books about former Yugoslavia as I hadn't finished them before we left. Thank you Niksa!!! As far as location... Perfect. Beautiful house, great views, brilliant vibe. Oh, and best wifi reception we found in all of Eastern Europe!. The room we stayed in was furnished to a very high standard - it was beautiful. The location is perfect for exploring; it's a few minutes to the sea and just a few more to the bars and restaurants. The owner can't do enough for you he fills the communal kitchen with fresh fruit and pastries every morning and even walked us into town so we could get our bearings. Superb!. Excellent accommodation. Very welcoming. Real character owner, very helpful and generous. Lovely room and facilities. Great help-yourself breakfast and fruit, pastries, drinks available throughout the day. Central location, only a few mins from the Riva and Diocletian's Palace. Great value for money and would highly recommend for a stay in Split. The owner was incredible- very hospitable. He went out of his way to make my friend and I comfortable. There was a great communal balcony. He bought us Croatia cookies, yogurt, juice and other fruits for the morning. It was very clean. The shower was perfect. There was nothing bad about this place- it made my second stay in Split amazing!. The owner is so kind, friendly and helpful. Lovely fresh fruit provided when breakfast is not officially included. Location is very good, quiet with restaurants, shops, bus and ferry all so handy. Our timing was very good since we were very blessed in meeting other lovely people at St Luke's Residence. Thank you Nicksa for all your help. St Luke's is in a fab location in the old town. Nicksa met us at the airport free of charge and brought us to split! It's got charm and style. Comfy beds and lots of fantastic 'little touches'. Fruit and musli laid out for breakfast. Amazing view from down stairs balcony and even better from roof balcony of the marina and cathedral. The host at St Luke's went out of his way to make us feel welcome and at home without ever being overbearing. The accommodation was clean, very comfortable and offered a host of complementary extras in a perfect central location with some of splits best restaurants on the door step. We will definitely aim to visit again!. This was a great little find. Niksa is quite the host and the accomodation is absolutely superb. The rooms are small but perfectly formed - contemporary with high quality furnishings. The balcony on the 2nd floor is great, and especially the living room. I could not recommend this place any higher. The room was very comfortable with a nice bathroom. The owner, Niksa, goes out of his way to be welcoming and helpful. There is a common area with a well stocked kitchen. Niksa provides beautiful fresh fruit, yoghurt, breakfast items, and even wine for his guests. Highly recommended. Very friendly host Niksa & the rooms are very comfortable & clean with a power shower.Views over the courtyard with a small balcony with chairs & table.Location very good with some good restaurants only a few minutes walk away & the old town only 10 minutes walk away. Very difficult to find as the name of the property is not on the property only found by actual address. Once found it is in a good location for the marina. Owner does provide a basic breakfast FOC. Good quality accommodation which the owner is keen to promote. Very well located - near the old town but not in it, therefore quiet. Room was small but clean, excellent beds and pillows. A common room was supplied daily by the proprietor with fresh fruits and pastries. The owner was very accomodating. Nothing. letsbookhotel.com information lead you to believe that you can use the roof top balcony which looks over the harbour but this is only available if you have the penthouse suite. Whilst requests are not guaranteed, we were surprised that our particular room request was ignored as the owner allocates rooms according the residents selection on arrival, overriding any request that have been made in advance, hence the last arrival gets the least favourite room. Shame really. Expensive, but Split is expensive in general. Pretty hard to find without help. Lots of stairs. Would be a difficult hotel for a guest with mobility problems. The check in process is slightly confusing. Turn up and ring a number that's written on the mailbox!. I liked everything. nothing negative to say. For some reason we were double booked for 2 rooms on 27 aug when we only booked 1, our host was v understanding re this but should not be charged for this by yourselves. Nothing.
