Our hosts met us before we even got out of the taxi! Beautiful room. Quiet neighborhood in old town. Steps away from narrow streets...steps away from public park...perfect spot to enjoy Split. The decoration and interior design of the hotel is just beautiful. Rooms were so clean. Greeting from very friendly receptionist on arrival was great as found the Croatians to be incredibly sour and unfriendly, SO we nearly fell over with the warmth of the greeting! Great location in the palace, you have all restaurants and shops just a minute away. Apartment is great equipped with everything you may need for a longer stay. A good tip is to ask for a double bed as the other apartment has a small bed. Also, be prepared to climb narrow stairs and small doorways to the apartment - did not bother us but we just thought it was lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal Suites, which is ideally situated near the old town. The highlight was the outstanding attitude of the staff, who provided us with excellent advice and support. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria, Tony, Tina and Lana. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed excellent breakfasts. We would certainly stay at the hotel again.
