The owner of the house made our stay!! First when we arrived he offered us couple of glasses of schnapps he produces. Then he was always available for helping us organizing the rest of our trip and giving us some tips. Finally before we left he prepared us couple of coffees to "feel" better. The owner speaks his own language which is a mix between German, Croatian, English and Italian. The communication is sometimes funny but from far he's the one we interacted the most during our 2 weeks tri.
所有评语 » Arrived late at Ploce bus station. Friendly (most Croations are) attendant knew Tiho (owner of Apts San Antiono), and called him for us. Tiho in car was there in no time, a nice surprise to what would have been a 15 minute walk. Upon arrival, we enjoyed some of his home-made artisanal schnapps. Retiring to a clean, spacious room, I would have prefered a double bed to share with my wife, but it was comfortable. A capable chef, Tiho prepared the most amazing patio breakfast of meats, cheeses, pas. Our appartment was spacious and very comfortable - there was a large balcony/ patio too but we could not take advantage owing to the inclement weather.Wifi was strong and there was a limited cooking facility. The key charm was the bewitching charm and hospitality of our host.He was so generous and helpful, but not over intrusive. We were greeted with coffee and schnapps and the welcoming continued from there. The accommodation was excellent we would stay there again. The host/owner Tiho was so welcoming and friendly, cooked us an amazing breakfast every time we came home greeted us with food & drinks. Even did our washing. Stayed on top floor with fantastic balcony for evening drinks. Thank you Tiho see you again soon. Western Australia Perich Family. We made our stop in Ploče to take the boat to Korcula the next day, and had a long day of traveling. We had a really nice welcome from the owner who gave us something to drink and brought us to the room. It was a warm day, but the room was nice and cool and really clean. The apartment owner is really a nice guy. I am happy to meet him. He invited us for a coffee and gave us some watermelon. He is also available to talk where to go around Ploče for a swim. You will have a great time at this apartments. welcome drink, forward-coming approach, hospitality, excellent vegetarian friendly breakfast offer (flexible upon request) wifi travel advice (directions, recommendations). Frendly host, very good for tranzit, clean apartment, good eguipment in kitchen. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Ploce is definitely not a city for staying a week but it's a good place for people travelling on the Croatian coast or from one island to another. Ploce' ist kein Ort an dem man eine Woche verbringt, aber es ist ein guter Ort um Halt zu machen und durchzuatmen. We were " on foot" and the location is a good 20 minutes walk - we actually had to ask a shopkeeper for directions and she kindly phoned the appartment and two minutes later the owner's wife picked us up. It would be more suitable if you were travelling by car. Though there is a good cafe/ restaurant within 400 yards and a supermarket too in the adjacent village. Ploce itself was rather dreary. Nothing absolutely enjoyed our stay.
