Excellent customer service - Iris contacted us before we arrived and gave us some really helpful info. Rose collected and returned us to the bus station in Hvar town and spent time talking us through tourist information that they had put together. The apartment was exceptionally clean and was light and airy. The apartment benefited from being in a quiet location up the hill from Hvar town. There was quite a steep hill to walk up but it didn't take long and we got used to it!.
所有评语 » Iris and her mother Rose were absolutely wonderful and the apartment matched the hosts! Location is great (easy enough 5-10min walk to the Main Street) and is very spacious, clean and well equiped. Best value for money so far in our 7 week Europe trip. They made check in and check out so simple, and were especially helpful when my partner was unwell the morning we had to leave, arranging a transfer a bit later in the morning and checking bus times for us. Highly recommended!. We absolutely loved our stay at the Apartment Iris. Both Rose and Iris were so warm and friendly; picking us up from the bus station and even dropping our bags off when we left after they had looked after them for the day. The apartments are spacious, modern (although not all have yet been renovated), and only a 5 minute walk into town. We had such a great stay we even went back to stay there for a second time. Really lovely apartment- Iris is very friendly, she emailed as soon as we confirmed booking and offered a lift from ferry, which was a really nice touch. Very affordable, very clean and comfy. I forgot my hair dryer so when I asked to borrow, iris bought one for the apt which was really nice and not necessary. I would highly recommend these apartments and Hvar. Location great too- 7 min walk into Hvar centre :). Very friendly and helpful staff. Great welcome from both Iris and Rose who picked us up at the bus stop. The apartment were spotless and extremely well equipped. Very affordable considering Hvar. Nice balcony. Good location too, just a 5 minute walk downhill to the city center of Hvar. Would warmly recommend Iris apartments and Hvar. Lovely clean and spacious apartment with large balcony. Very helpful owner who picked us up and drove us back to the ferry. Whilst it's a few minutes walk, up hill, outside of town we found that ideal as it meant it was quiet compared with being in the centre. We'd highly recommend this one and Hvar itself. Very comfortable and clean apartments. Family run and Rose was perfectly attentive to our needs (not that we needed anything extra!). An ideal apartment to make home for a few days, well priced and a short walk away from the centre of Hvar Town. Local restaurant recommendations were also great!. Iris and her mother Rose were extremely helpful. Iris emailed as soon as we booked and arranged to collect us from the ferry. Rose did some laundry for us, and even washed a pair of white trousers I had twice as she wasn't happy they were clean enough the first time!. Really great location. Yes it's up a hill but it's really not a big deal if you have an average level of fitness. The staff were really helpful and the apartment has a lovely feel about it. We had a fabulous time here and would recommend it to other couples. The apartment was very clean with a lovely terrace to enjoy a drink and meal on. We would highly recommend. The location is good because the walk from town is not too steep which can be a problem in Hvar. Rose was extremely friendly and helpful Everything was in good condition and all kithchen appliances worked well Place was clean and well maintained. Friendly staff (met us off the early Ferry and stored our bags while we went out again). Picked us up from town and showed us to the apartment and offered to return us to town on our last day (we ended up just walking down with our bags). I loved: Iris' mother kindness and helpfulness, the big appartment, the great terrace, the cleanness of the appartment, the nice garden with home-made pots made out of pebbles, the huge kitchenette, many facilities (toaster, kettle, etc. Rosa is the prop rioter of the apartments and she is very lovely and helpful. She will pick you up from the ferry and drop you back. The apartments are very clean and a 5 mins walk from town. (Uphill, but fine if you are reasonably fit). not too busy, sea fantastic to swim/dive in. Good food, friendly people. The apartment was really clean and well equipped. Lovely large balcony with great view. Very helpful landlady. Would go back and would def recommend this appartment. I liked that Iris met me at the bus station and when leaving they met me in town with my luggage. Iris gave me maps and information on what to see and do for my stay. She went to a lot of effort. A lot of good advices about restaurants, what to visit..... A really friendly place!. Hvar is great for people watching and yacht spotting. Has a good walk around the sea shore. Also good for day trips to other islands if you get your timing right or island hopping. You can also hire a water taxi to explore local islands. Apartment was ok, Iris and Rose very accommodating. Cost was best feature. Although the apartment is very close to the town, there is a fairly steep hill to climb to reach it. It only takes 5 mins but was daunting in the heat. Older people would struggle. Nothing really. Would have been nice to have a good sea view but maybe the higher units do have. We were on first floor. Unit is quite small but the balcony made up for the lack of a sitting area. Not really an issue from us (in fact we booked her specifically as it was slightly out of town so would be quieter etc.) but it is a short uphill walk from town (maybe ten minutes). Nothing in the appartment, or maybe just the fact that it's on a hill so when you come back exhausted from the beach and the supermarket, it's hard walking up the hill ;-) but we loved every minute in there. Nothing. Nothing important... Nothing. Nothing. It was not a problem for us but you do need to be fit and mobile to walk to local beaches and in to the old town to supermarkets and restaurants. The mattress in the bed is not a good one. Maybe a new one can be better. We did not appreciate the distance out of town,only 10minutes but quite a walk up the hill several times per day. Nothing at all... We wanted to stay an extra day, but the apartment was booked--not exactly a complaint!. nothing. Nothing, everything was great. It was 7 minutes up a steep hill from Hvar city. Although the location was ok for us, it's worth bearing in mind that the apartment is a 10 minute walk up the hill from town. Nothing. The only minus is that it is located near with the road and it was a little bit loudly. A little bit far away from the city center, especially when you are coming back (up a hill). The noise from the upper apartment was disturbing late night and early morning, walls are very thin and the terrace was a walk through from the other apartment on same level and their table was outside our bedroom. No armchairs to sit on in bedroom. No lounge to sit in. Parking fair only. Nowhere to put toiletries. Difficult to do own laundry. Faces fierce western sun in afternoon.
