We stayed in Hvar for only one night out of our entire vacation, but our hosts at Apartment Dobrila helped make our time there the best experience of our entire trip. Hvar is beautiful and historic and cultural in itself, but the wine and grape welcome by Jurko and his son Dino was above and beyond. We arrived around lunch time and ended up sampling some of mama's homemade beef stew, which was delicious. Located within an easy walk of city center, yet close to an amazing tucked away beach mostl.
所有评语 » I stayed at Apartments Dobrila at the end of August 2013 for 5 nights where we were greeted with a warm welcome. The hosts Jurko and Dobrila are very friendly, helpful, hospitable and kind...best hosts ever. They made me feel at home .They gave me an endless supply of homemade wine, always willing to have a chat and even cooked me a traditional fish dinner which was marvellous. The apartment was very clean, fresh and well maintained with love from the hosts. The front rooms have lovely views . We got a great welcome from the owner. Bottle of wine and home grown grapes. Our apartment was fantastic. Three double rooms and three bathrooms with a sea view (there were 3 of us). The owner collected us from the port which isn't the norm here and he sat down with us for half an hour and explained where to go, where to eat etc. Throughout the trip he was great, giving advice and checking we were ok. He also dropped us back to the port. The place was clean and equipped with all appliances. It'. We have been in 5 different places in two weeks in Croatia, and this one is without competition top of the top. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, hospitable,….we have never met such nice hosts in all our travels. The apartment was marvelous, with love to the details from the landlady. The view to the sea and city was great. It is very clean, fresh and well maintained. The apartment is perfectly situated. It is allocated in a very quiet area and is very close to the nicest beach in Hvar c. Very friendly hosts. They gave us a bottle of homemade white wine upon arrival, gave us a complimentary upgrade to a larger room with terrace overlooking the sea (well worth to book with sea view!) Host drove us by car to the harbor after checkout. Apartment had all appliances needed (apart from wine glasses and bottle opener for beer bottles). Very clean and well maintained. Situated in a calm area where one is not disturbed by parties and very close to supermarket and local beach. Free wifi. We have felt very well in this apartment. They were very hospitable to us. The apartment was very clean, we got every day fresh towels and sometimes the mummy cooked native specialities and let us try (mmmm ... excellent). The apartment is situated in a very good location. So you will find many good restaurants, bars and supermarkets. We are looking forward to seeing you maybe in next autumn. All in all - it was like a *****-star Hotel. :-) Thank's a lot. You will not get the kind of service they offer at any 5-star hotel. Jurko and his family make you feel at home and are extremely hospitable. They will go above and beyond in order to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and modern and well equipped. The apartment is situated a short walk (about 15 mins) from old town. We loved our stay there and would definitely go back!. Everything has been perfect. Host gave us a warm welcome, with homemade wine and grapes and explaining us where to go in the island. The apartment was clean and full equipped. Nice terrace with beatiful view over the town. Just 10 minutes walk to city center or 5 min to port. Whole family was really kind and allowed us to share their table while drinking homemade grappa. Positive points to this location would be more ... starting at the location, Iurkov staff, which gave us details about the restaurants in the area, where the best and the cheapest over ... and ending with the location that looks super clean, equipped with absolutely everything.All of these make a location at doblila apartments that you commeback with pleasure. Excellent apartment. A 20 min walk from the port, in a quiet area with a fantastic terrace/balcony with what has to be one of the best views in hvar. Staff v friendly and helpful, speak v good English and even gave us a bottle of homemade wine on arrival. In a two week travel around Croatia by far the best apartment (and the cheapest of our stay too). Fantastic apartment! Bottle of homemade wine on arrival, and given some information on the best beaches/supermarkets/restaurants etc. Room was lovely (aircon was much needed!!!!!) and clean, and the balcony had a great view over the garden which was lovely to relax on. Pick up from bus, bag drop off before catamaran. Just perfect. Very helpful people, picked us up and dropped us off, had some wine with them and were always friendly. Having to leave. Nothing to say. Definitely a good choice to stay in Hvar. A bit far a way from the beach, which in return is not pleasant. Nothing to say.
