Dijvo took very good care of us starting from picking us up from the airport and back, and showing us a bit around the city. He was giving us good hints about Dubrovnik, sights, restaurants etc. Room was spacious, clean and had all the facilities we needed, bathroom very nice and balcony facing the sea was great for breakfast and relaxing after long day in the city. Nice walk down to Pile gate for sightseeing the old town or picking up the bus to go to Lapad for the beach or nice dinner res.
所有评语 » Ideal location close to the old town great views near bus stops for local bus and pick ups for day trips we went to Bosnia and Montenegro and Cavtat along the coast is a must see.The cable car is 5 mins.walk and views are stunning from the top.Djivos son gave us a map and suggestions for our stay which was very helpful.We had the room with a balcony and canopy which was excellent.2 minor issues in the room were dealt with speedily.Mini market close by nice friendly staff. Good-sized fine room with kitchinette. Good balcony with seaview. Free safe parking. Konzummarket close. Near old town (less than 10 mins walk downstairs). With Dubrovnik-card (3 days) you can go direct from PileGate to Benic by bus no. 8, through the harbour to the stop on the road close to Benic. Taxa about 50 Kuna. But still you can climb up about 225 steps. We would definetly stay here again. Kind host. Host Djivo is a wealth of local knowledge and is delighted to inform his guests of places to visit, eat and play. Wonderful location, just out of the old city but no more than 5 mins walk so quieter and more relaxed. Gorgeous balcony views with outdoor seating and lounger. Highly recommend for a weekend visit to Dubrovnik. Great room, large terrace with a beautiful sea view, very clean and comfortable, close to the old city (around 10 min charming walk). The family Benic was of great help, offered to drive us to the ferry port and gave us great tips that made our trip unforgettable!! Thank you again and see you next time we're in Dubrovnik!. My husband and I stayed in Villa Benic after a cruise and found it had everything we wanted. We were able to do laundry there, which is a big help if you are traveling in Europe. The proximity to Old Town, a ten minute walk, was perfect for us. The spacious balcony had a beautiful view of the ocean and Old Town. Djivo was a wonderful host, arranging our collection from the airport and providing us with a thorough insight into his country. He could not have been any more helpful, recommending restaurants, providing ferry times and even giving us a lift to the port. A great way to begin our tour of Croatia. Thank you. The view from the balcony: sea and old town! Hosts were very nice and helpful. We even got a ride to the harbour when we were leaving. Location is ok, 10 minutes from old town. Room, including bathroom, was nice and clean. There was fridge and small kitchen in the room. Aircondition was available. Our stay at Villa Benic was wonderful. The owner Djivo and his family were very nice and helped us a lot. The appartment was clean and the view from the balcony (dubrovnik and the sea) was beautiful. Next year we would like to stay again at Villa Benic. Thanks Djivo. Excellent accommodations with a wonderful host. He located and drove me to a store where I was able to buy a replacement GPS. Mine failed when I visited Montenegro the previous day. Excellent location just a short walk to the historical center.. - very friendly and helpful - great location if you bring a car: easy to find, close to main road, own parking place - a nice 15 min walk to the old town - spacy room, nice bathroom - small super market next door. Good location with a nice view to the sea and old city. Very spacious room which also has a fridge, kettle, some tableware and cutlery which was very handy. Secure private parking. We'll definitely book here again!. Although we had an external private bathroom, it was a huge one in EU standard and came with a spa tub!!! It was a great treat to soak in it after a full day on feet!!!. The room was very nice and comfortable. With the windows closed it was very quiet and the a/c made it very comfortable. Location was good (but so many appartments are in Dubrovnik that this is not really a unique thing). There are a few (200 or so) steps to climb back to Villa Benic when coming back from day in the city or dinner. We did not mind it though, it is good exercise for anyone with normal health. There are a number of stairs to get to the apartment, first from old town, then inside the house to the apartment. This may be a problem for some people but was fine for us. they accept only cash. - a holder above your head for the shower would be handy. Bathroom is located down the corridor, which may be not very convinient if you stay for a longer time, but I have to say it is very spacious and comfortable. The air-conditioner was a bit smelly for some couple of minutes once turned on but I am being too picky, the rest was absolutely perfect!. Only minor things that could be improved: missing power socket in bathroom for shaver & a proper holder for shower head would be nice. My bathroom was down the hall. I knew this when I booked the apartment. Not a big deal - just slightly annoying. The other apartments had their own bathroom. Coffeemaker would be good. Up lots of steep stairs, but most of Dubrovnik is. Nothing. Although, close to theold town one has to go down as well climbing up is a big task. We had the car but there is a big parking problem. We used the taxi to come back. apartment not very modern. We were there for 3 days. - Our room was never cleaned, the bathroom was never cleaned. - To us it felt like people who rented their rooms just to get quick money. Maybe it was because we had a double room booked and not the "appartments" with balconies. - Most expensive room during our holiday (with worst service).
