We (two colleagues on our way to a job meeting), stayed in the apartment for two nights, and were met by Tonci's wife, Renata, who was so lovely and guest friendly. Insisted to carry our luggage all the way to the top floor apartment. OK space for two people. Small kitchen corner, a table, two comfortable single beds and a clean, nice bathroom with lots of towels. An iron and ironing board is also provided, hair dryer, and cold welcoming couple of beers, a bottle of local liqueur (very nice!). .
所有评语 » This apartment was located right in the middle of one of the most vibrant squares in all of Dubrovnik. Every morning there is an open market where fresh produce and locally made items are for sale. Some of the best restaurants are right outside the apartments door. The owners went out of their way to take care of us, even picking us up at the bus station and escorting us to the room. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and very roomy. It is a bit loud but that is part of being in the . This is an excellent location in the heart of old town dubrovnike. Tonci, who runs the place is a great guy and very helpful. On our last day, he told us to hold on to the keys and leave our luggage because we had a late evening flight. As the name suggests, this place is really a studio apartment (at least the appartment that we stayed in). It's clean and very spacious. If you're a budget traveller and need a nice, clean, centrally located place. This is definitely it. The wifi is reliable and. The owners, Tonci and his wife, were lovely and helped us with our luggage as well as collecting us at the airport. The location in the corner of the square in the Old Town was perfect. We loved the shuttered windows with a view of the square and the sound of the bells. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient. The shower was also excellent. The kitchenette was small but had everything you needed for hot drinks and snacks plus fridge and there was a small supermarket in the square. We were met at the airport by the owner Tonci- great value as he picked us up and brought us to the apartment all for a small fee of 20 Euro. He was very friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was a real delight- all self contained and in a central part of old Dubrovnik.The apartment was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Tonci met us at the gate and was very kind and helpful. The apartment is beautiful, big and very nicely furnished. The bathroom is gorgeous, the kitchen space means you can cook if you want to and everything was very clean. The perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik. Our room overlooked the square, was very spacious and delightfully furnished with antiques. Both room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. We were delighted with a warm welcome, and a box of chocolates: our host had noticed we both had birthdays close to the date of our stay. We would have stayed an extra two nights, but the apartments were fully booked. Our introduction to Dubrovnik was perfect. At the end of a long journey Tonci, our host, picked us up from the bus terminal and had two cold beers in the fridge for us. The apartment was clean comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The location on the placa is central to all sights and an occasional refuge from the throngs of tourists. The best apartment in oldtown dubrovnik! It has spacious room with clean bathroom and useful kitchen. The location is fantastic as well. There is a supermarket, bakery, morning market and nice restaurants just in front of the building. Mr. and Mrs Tonci was very kind, too. They picked us up from the bus terminal. Top location. Many places in Dubrovnik are in the hilly areas requiring climbing lots of steps. It was nice to walk out each day into a flat town square. A very nice room too with double glazed windows that kept any noise at bay. A great host that made us feel very welcome. Can't wait to come back. Spectacular room in the center of the old city.Self contained Views to the cathedral so close you could almost touch it. The apartments are perfectly situated in the centre of Old Dubrovnik with the whole city on the doorstep. The harbour is 1-2 minutes walk and you can easily walk to all the citys attractions. There are lots of stairs to the top floor apartment, and no lift so keep that in mind if you have heavy suitcases or ask for lower floor apartment. The Cathedral bells starting early in the morning (05.30), however, no matter where you stay in the Old Town, this would be an issue. The only issue we encountered was that one of the beds was very squeaky. This was just a minor issue in comparison to how wonderful our time was in this apartment. I would go back and stay here in a heartbeat. The bathroom geyser is small so you could run out of hot water. We had the apartment on the top floor (4th) so it was a bit of a climb. A good workout though. We were in the top apartment which was up 3 flights of stairs. Luckily we did not have big cases. The beds were a little soft and dipped in the middle. The market stalls in the square were set up from 6am which could be a little noisy but fine with the windows closed. It was a bit noisy in the square early morning and at night, from restaurants setting up and putting away tables. However, this didn't stop us from enjoying our stay. There is no lift so be prepared to carry luggage up two possible flights of stairs, although Tonci helped on arrival. Nothing. It was great!. We had to leave!!!!. Nothing. Would absolutely return. You need to climb quite many steps to get into your room. The bed sheets were to be changed every to days but it wasn't so. Besides there is some problems with the shower there is a boiler which is too small so I was always short of water. We couldn't take a shower one after another because there was no hot water. And there was always water in the shower the drain system works really bad. It was up 3 flights of stairs so taking our lugage up the stairs was a bit hard,but 2 beers waiting on in our room in the fridge was a nice touch for this. It's all about location here and the pain of the stairs is worth it in the long run. Stairs without baggage is fine. Be prepared for the heavy tourist traffic -once travelers from the cruise ships arrive the old town turns to bedlam!. Bed could have been more comfy. Can be noisy from restaurants below and church bells but really didn't bother us because that's part of the character of staying in the old town. A little more street noise than expected even with windows closed. Unfortunately, the "perfect" location also is in the heart of restaurants and the noise from celebrants is loud at night when this traveler was trying to sleep. this is the ONLY downside. We missed a coffeemaker and a microwave. is right in the centre of things so could have been slightly noisy but our child slept through so wasn't too bad. pillows weren't comfortable. Bruit la nuit (noise at night). Nothing. Nothing. We could have used a few basic supplies like sugar, salt, pepper. Nothing. Could be noisy with bells ringing from 6am!. would like a microwave in the room. Cold showers, loud bells.
