  Really like the place, real Beijing feel. - By its very nature I was immersed in the Hutong and saw how those people live on a daily basis. For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel.   Hotel was near the temple of heaven and close to a metro station so that was very convenient. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly but spoke hardly any English. There was a problem with the booking but finally the staff solved this in a proper way.
