  Puerto Escondida B&B is a great place to stay in Valparaiso. It's out of the chaos of the busy port and up in the hills of the mostly lovely little area. It's surrounded by cafes, restaurants and a couple of shops. Staff is extremely friendly, even with a language barrier. The owner speaks perfect English and never made me feel like a - Puerta Escondida is a great place to go to. The rooms are nicely decorated with a good and clean bathroom. The living room and where we had breakfast are breathing an extremely positive atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent and prepared by our host Andres who is an extremely nice guy. Whatever we needed or wanted to know, he was of great help! Highly recommendable!

  My sweetheart and I spent 4 nights from Monday to Friday in the first week of April 2013. The loft apartment was very beautiful and in great condition. We could tell that everything inside was decorated tastefully in a way that used the space very well. We received fresh bread for breakfast at 9 AM every day. The other ingredients were put in our fridge and on our kitchen table the day before when the loft got cleaned and - Oooh I miss that place...I Stayed at the Ramaditas apartment for 11 nights and I absolutely loved it. On my third night there I dreamt that I bought the apartment!! Very beautiful and it has everything you might need. I've read some comments here about the eco-friendly shower but I didn't have any problems with it at all. You really have to take showers with boiling hot water on full power for more than 15 mins for the water to start getting colder. The location was great too, easy access even

  I loved the location on Cerro Bellavista- amongst all the street art and being away from the main tourist hordes. Mother & daughter combination of Patricia and Sarah are warm, friendly and very helpful with suggestions of things to do etc and even recommended places to visit away from Valparaiso. They also took me on a night tour before I left... 别人怎么说 » . What a beautiful city it is. There is no reception as such, but Sarah or Patricia greet guests who have booked and there's a mobile/cell phone ther - The owners are lovely....very welcoming and helpful. English is spoken. My room with twin beds had a lovely typically Valpo view down a steep ravine and over to the next hill...interesting both night and day. I had good sleeps as this area is quieter than some. The hostal is being renovated and will have a nice eating area with a great view. Do it yourself breakfast and the opportunity for cooking your own lunch or dinner.. Espiritu Santo, almost next door, is an excellent restaurant. Try it.
