  All of the staff were courteous, helpful and solicitous. Breakfast was outstanding. Location was nice, near metro stop and easy walking distance of many fine restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Only one block off of major avenue in Santiago central downtown area. Can walk to most of the places of interest and spots in town, if one has the aptitude. Almenas is a nice cosy home/hostel, comfortable place to sleep in and a clean complete private bath (have to opt for it though). The staff is professional and courteous. And yes, Wi-fi is available and works very well. Breakfast was simple but sufficient as one would eat at home.
