WE were fortunate to have the first week of the holiday season with few people around, excellent weather, and great service. This suited our needs perfectly and we really enjoyed our time. We will be back again either early for late in the season. The restaurant staff were amazing. :). Loved all the hanging flower baskets, the rustic swings and the fountain on the property. The scenery is beautiful and the dining room patio looks out on the lake so combined with the delicious food it makes for a most enjoyable dining experience.

Nice restaurant at the hotel for dinner and breakfast. Liked the location. Staff were very nice, helpful and accommodating. Loved the food at the Chophouse!. View of Vimy Peak from our window. Room was very comfortable. Restaurant and spa very close by. the location was number 1 right on the marina and the beds were great. We loved the location. location was excellent. location excellent. location. The check in was slow because the new girls did not know what they were doing. However they were pleasant and the owner come to the rescue. We did have to ask for a fridge in our room, although it was promised. It did arrive in due time. Thanks for a staff member. I didn't like having to carry my luggage up the steep stairs to our room on the second floor. It would have been nice to have had a staff member available to assist with luggage delivery to the room. We would have liked to be able to access some Canadian TV. As set out chan's 4, 6 & 8 didn't work all we kept getting was ch. 57. Ch. 67 which was CBC was so staticy and fuzzy it was hard to watch. Needs improvement. Rooms are a little dated. Beds were a little too soft for my liking. We were in room 113 and it was noisy above us all the time. Walls are think so you can hear everyone outside and upstairs. Initially put in a first floor room and could not handle the noise from the floor above (you can hear everything). Moved to the upper level and noise wasn't a problem. The screen door was broken and the steam from the shower set off the smoke alarm. old facility, high price and did not feel that the staff were particularly enthusiastic.It was the end of the Summer season and everyne was tired and many preparing for their fall adventures so perhaps this was more understandable. Lounge staff were, however, excellent. my room was all shaking wen neighbours moving around next door or above. Not comfortable beds. having to pay $20 per night for our well behaved dog.
