I didn't like being billed, prior to check in, by you people!!
The location right on Granville street is close to cafes, pubs, restaurants, theatres, etc. Everything you need for a great stay in the city!
Convinient location, helpful staff and a room with a great view of Granville. I plan on staying here every time I'm in town.
clean, central, very friendly staff, view from the rooms to the city
very noisy in the night from the street
The location is awesome and the value was suitable for me.
is on a street with good nightlife if you like that, big comfy beds
you can hear said nightlife in the room a bit...I was in a high up floor and imagine that from a lower floor it could be pretty bothersome... some homeless roaming the area...
Friendly efficient staff, and we were offered an upgrade to a suite with a separate bedroom including a huge king size bed!
Faint smell of cigarette smoke - although once we were in the room for a while we didn't notice it.
We had a separate bedroom suite with a king size bed, and there was a pull-out couch in the living room. For the room and the location of the hotel the price couldn't be beat for downtown Vancouver. If you are partying on Granville this is the perfect location, and is also five minutes walking distance to shopping on Robson and Yaletown. The parking was reasonably priced as well, and the room was clean.
The hotel itself is quite dated in terms of decor and design. It is of course, an old hotel. If you are looking for a nice modern bathroom and decor then you won't find it here.
great value, convenient location
Spaciousness of room
The double bed is small, ESP when most hotels hav equine and king size beds
Location was great.Bed was very comfortable.Great for people watching. Entertainment district brings out the diversity.
Panhandlers abound, especially in the evenings.
Liked everything about it.. Location, room, staff, etc.. :)

We like the bed and the balcony view in the morning :)
We were being too loud ... I guess lol
Location and room were excellent.
Delay in checking in - Easter weekend, but even so, we arrived at 4pm (check-in is supposed to be from 3pm) were made to wait for 45mins for a room. Everyone that came to check-in while we were waiting was given the same story, that they were busy the previous night and late check-outs - not acceptable in a hotel that size.
This place is always accommodating to my requests. The on-site restaurant is delicious and room service is excellent. Right in the middle of the entertainment district! A short walk to many clubs.
Hotel is smack dab in the middle of peep show/sex shop alley. Myself & my older daughter find it amusing, but I wouldn't bring a younger, more impressionable child.
view from the balcony heating in rooms was great
water pressure in shower too low
Location- close proximity to Yaletown and Robson St. Staff- friendly, helpful and responsive Price- great value Room- large bedroom with fridge
the room
the RCMP in the lobby while I was checking out...and the clerk not sharing what the problem was...
Helpful staff'. Nice room. Excellent food
Noisy at night. Shower not very good.
Staff helpful
Was very noisy during the night with noise from street even though we were on 14th floor
I liked the layout of the room. The tv was nice with a good picture. We also enjoyed the balcony - disappointed that there were no chairs or stools or something to sit on out there. It was raining some decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. We found the food to be quite good and our waitress was very nice and polite to us.
We found the room clean except for the bathroom. There was what looked like blood spatter or hopefully ketchup on the outer bathroom door and there was a number of hairs that weren't ours scattered around the bathroom. We "rented" a movie that had a lot of disturbance in the picture - we thought for $14.99 it would be clear as a bell but it wasn't. Found the parking fees to be quite expensive but it was a safe place to park our car.
Some staff were not so helpful and not nice at all.
