Our first time in St Jacobs, we really enjoyed this hotel! It was cute, cozy, and clean. Many channels on the tv to keep you occupied once the town has gone to sleep. Warm blankets on the bed and more in the dresser. Tons of space in the room! Big dresser, a desk and chair, plus the bed and bedside tables. The washroom was very impressive, one of the best hotel washrooms I have seen (and that goes for the public washrooms down the hall as well). Breakfast was provided every morning in the vera.

very comfortable beds,We enjoyed the front street view. of our room, the continental breakfast, we really enjoyed the choice offered and relaxing place to sit overlooking the street.or you could take to your room easily to relaxe.. Our dinner, it was excellent, many choices, and it was delicious. All in all we would defintely stay again and recommend it highly. We found all of the staff friendly and helful, room clean and fresh. Thankyou.
The staff was friendly and always helpful. The breakfast area was cozy and it was nice to be able to chat with other guests exchange ideas of where they enjoyed visiting in the area. The breakfast area overlooked the quaint downtown which was a bonus.
The service was always pleasant and friendly . My husband and l had a wonderful stay. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and relaxing. Thank you.

As there was 4 of us, we would have liked 2 packets of coffee provided in the room upon arrival, likewise more cups. With that said it was mentioned coffee was available downstairs 24 hrs.however more convenient in the room thankyou.

Air conditioner in room was so loud it sounded like it was pouring rain all night. Fast moving traffic on the main street kept us up all night. I expected it to be quiet since the town basically shut down at 6pm.
No elevator to rooms Original bill was considerably over confirmed amount but was corrected by staff when questioned.
All rooms are up stairs with no elevator.
Short on Inn staff we had to ask for more towels, shampoo, soap, etc.
The inn is very old, and a local landmark. I was disappointed that the decor was too modern, and did not reflect the character of the town.
Website ws old so different look when arrived, but upgrades were lovely.
air conditioning was to loud.
We found it difficult to regulate the temperature in the room. I did not like having to come in the back door after dark especially since there were very few guests - I did not feel safe. I did not know until the next day that there was a staff person there at night.
