It's located close to essential shopping strip and yet manages to keep unnecessary noise out. The temperature was perfect, the shower, washroom, internet connection and the general feel was awesome. Contrary to the popular rumour the internet connection didn't time out after 15 minutes. It never did time out! Other than tooth paste and toothbrush they provide all toiletries. Didnt try their tv so can't speak about it. Had one of the deepest sleeps in a loooooooong time here. My migraine was kil.
所有评语 » The front reception desk management especially Mr.Issaha and Ms.Mina were thorough professional persons. They both were extra polite and very helpful. The management is very fortunate to have these kind of dedicated people in their team. The management has a heart! My booking didn't allow for date change, but the manager empathised our situation (visa out late caused by strike) and bent the rule for us. Such kind people are rare now. Easy walk to just about anything you wanted to do. Easy parking. Good beds. Great view. Safe area. Front desk was quick to respond to key issue with our door and moved us to a new room. The friendly efficient service. We arrived late and were given all the necessary information and even more information than we needed. It was all very helpful and appreciated. Great location for Jazz Festival and our interests. Convenient to have coffee shop in lobby. Comfortable working in English. Staff were helpful. Air conditioning. Affordable. The entry way and check in area (main lobby) Comfortable room and bed. Exceptional customer service at check in and at check out. Extra hour check out time. Free WiFi. A/C. Where the location allowed us to hit multiple key points of interest easily. The staff were helpful in any situation and always a pleasure to talk to. Very basic but great location. Prices got jacked up, like everywhere else, for the Grand Prix weekend. Was clean with good sized room. We went to jazz festival, it was located within walking distance to everything. Under ground parking next door was very handy as well. Appointments at the Neurological Institute. Great location. Great having the attached underground shopping mall and groceries. having lived in montreal many years ago i was amazed at the lovely changes. the city still has the charm i used to love. The staff were very helpful and the location is great to go up the Mountain or to go downtown. The room was very clean. Spacious room, iron, comfortable beds, clean room, laundry place in the residence, close to down town and to Mont Royal. Clean, comfortable, free wifi, helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic location entwined with the Galleries du Parc. I loved that there was a bar fridge in the room and that there was the convenience of shops on the lower level. Locatin and price. Also a good opportunity to stay in McGill residence as daughter is a student next year. Nice hotel, good facilities, clean bathroom, friendly staff, all this for a good price and well located. Location. Not so much just McGill but my topic of contention is against every hotel. If I arrive at 5 am, I am required to book from noon of the previous day, even though I have not used anything from that room for about 17 hours. Wish the hotels would change that. Also, the gourmet breakfast option is not available to the solo traveller - just the make- do Starbucks level quick bite of a breakfast. Thankfully, the vendor is pleasant. Nothing - we were there for slightly over a day only. Room lighting. Sinks slow to drain. Parking cost. Cleanliness of the bathroom. Late nite noise in the corridor. Looks a little run down although the overall look was very nice. They are in the process of remodeling. Very dated but you get what you pay for. 2 errors in your advertisement : 1) that there was shuttle service available and 2) did not identify in your advert that there were only rooms available to students during school season. Parking was 20$/day. Only ice machine in the hotel is on the fifth floor. We were on 16. The plug in the bathroom didn't work so I was unable to blow dry my hair (hair dryer hooked up to wall in bathroom) I tried to call front desk but the phone didn't have a dial tone even though it was plugged in. It was a huge inconvenience because I was getting ready to go to a wedding and didn't have time to switch rooms so I had to move the TV to use that plug. Hotel had a musty, smoky smell. Nothing!. didn't want to leave!. Only one person at check in and multiple people wanting to register. Too long. Common areas need to be spruced up. our room was not very clean. The carpet was quite disgusting. Fortunately the linens and bathroom were clean. The tub drain was quite clogged. There was no sign pointing the way to underground services. a bit run down as a first impression. the place needs a pit a pain. not really much negative could be said . Perhaps one could expect more luxury, but for this money it seems to be a really good deal. Rooms could be cleaner (bathroom and beds ok but carpet floors and ceilings could use some more cleaning), smell in the hallway at our floor not so good. Room wasn't that clean and was a little smelly. This is a poorly designed survey! Having to login to the internet every use was a huge pain. - Hire some real IT people!. Not much!. Like a college dorm, basic, but quiet and good place to sleep for the price. all of it. At check-in our room keys were not activated so we had to return to the desk to get them activated. We did not receive the wi-fi code upon check-in either so had to return for that as well. No information in the room, i.e. restaurants, activities. Unclean Room carpet Insufficient room lighting Rooms corridors always having intense cooking smell and need effective veventilation. Facilities are a bit run down, reception is not experienced and/or competent, and the resident students are quite noisy on weekends, until midnight. There was no hot running water and no electric kettle or coffee maker in the room. I have stayed here several times over the last five years. The building is starting to show the wear and tear from its use as a dorm for part of the year. The Checking girl at reception was poorly trained, and informed, was rude and condescending. Tv had no volume. Internet did not work on my apple computer. The front desk girl did not know a lot about the hotel or surroundings. One of the room had no hot water. Student groups staying in the residence were loud when going back to their rooms in the middle of the night (discussions in the corridors). Booking was botched. Room unclean, broken flush. run-down condition of property lack of cleanliness no ambiance confusing parking garage. Carpet.
