  We had a large, well equipped comfortable room. We loved the decor - wooden floors, brick walls, bright color schemes and large, original art work all over the place. The staff were great and the breakfast was to die for. This was such a fun place to stay and very good value. It is everything the internet says it is, and more. Welcoming and helpful staff took a personal interest in our stay. The breakfast was tres delicieux, service impeccable! The metro station is a 1-minute walk from which you can get anywhere in the city easily. The main shopping and restaurant area is a 5-minute walk.

  The first time I stayed I did not eat at the Indian resteraunt, but this time I did and it was excellent. Great salad bar, entrees and desserts. There was so much to choose from I didn't get a chance to try everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed very comfortable and the breakfast was also more than adequate. Not sure if there is anyother place in the city that the room rates and parking is - I was surprised to see a delightful Indian restaurant attached to the hotel. I did not get to eat there but it smelled wonderful from the moment I checked in. The hotel was very clean and seemed to have been remodeled recently. Carpet is not often that clean. The continental breakfast was more than usually offered. Staff were very helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable & location was suitable. I will go back.

  I liked a lot the downtown location next to Concordia Unversity and the fact I could walk to nearby Crescent street bars and nightclubs. Dorm room and bed were clean, shared bathroom was ok too.   Tony's knowledge of Montreal and points of interest was spot on we never had to drive our rental car while we were there.   It's a very smart hotel, perfect for a city trip; rooms cleverly designed for cleanliness. Fridge in room, and computer (+ wi-fi) - and although it failed to start initially, this only demonstrated the efficiency of the staff who got it going within 5 mins. These are the reasons I would come back.
