  First impression was disappointment, but once inside the decor was traditional log cabin with a modern twist, the welcome at reception was warm & informative. Our cabin was very comfortable, warm & peaceful. The evening meal & continental breakfast were delicious, immaculately served by the friendly English owners. Should have booked for longer! - I actually booked this lodge thinking it was close to the highway through Clearwater, but turned out it was 34km off the track. However, it is a lovely spot, and the wonderful chalet room we had with a verandah more than compensated fir the short detour. A real find.

  The area and surrounds. Watching the hummingbirds was delightful - It´s a ranch in the middle of the country. Nice place to be relax. Good place, good breakfast looking at the horses and the bisons. We get lost when we were looking for it.
