Breakfast is included which is really great! The breakfast changed a little each day, so sometimes you got pancakes and other times there was waffles or french toast. The restaurant staff were incredibly patient with all the young families around. It was so nice to be able to sleep in and have a hot brunch without having to pull out the wallet. Great value! Our room had a great big bathroom! This was really great! We had a standing shower, and a tub, and a big vanity. Our room had a huge wide.
所有评语 » The management was so nice. When we had to stay an extra night due to an unexpected state of emergency in the area, they reduce the room rate to half. This was amazingly sensitive at a time that was difficult for the town and tourists, Wonderful town to visit and we had a chance to walk on trails from the lodging to town once conditions improved. Everyone was very considerate under stressful circumstances. Very commendable for a business overall. Helpful desk staff- knew the area; Lucinda & Stephanie even knew hiking areas & conditions due to recent flooding, etc...; Hot buffet was great location was great rooms were quiet- great soundproofing Canmore was less hectic than Banff as it was a smaller place with fewer cars- easier to get around If returning, I would definitely stay here!. We Loved everything about this place; the room, the location, the views, the patio, the restaurant, the help (my x-husband took a fall at Moraine Lake....and the Windtower was kind enough to move us into a room with double beds.) As an American Airline retiree who travels a lot....I Have already started spreading the word!!. amid the 500 year flood crisis the staff were completely calm so the guest could still relax inspite of some inconveniences. They encouraged us to go on with our itinerary and provided for some of our needs like bottled water daily. Glad we could help in small ways in recovery. Loved "O Canada Day". The Staff where amazing during the floods, even when their own houses where flooded they still came to work to accommodate us as best they could. They also halved the nightly fee while still maintaining most of the services during the state of emergency. I will definitely be back! Thanks guys!. The beds & pillows were SO comfortable! We had our own little private patio & we could lay in bed & stare at the mountains. We loves the restaurant patio. The food was exemplary & the view was breathtaking. Price was very reasonable. Even had a Kierig in the room!!. Memory foam bed very comfortable; excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast included; wireless internet and Keurig coffee maker in each room; one bedroom suites had balcony and full kitchen; less than 15 minute walk to downtown Canmore. A short drive from Calgary. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good. Had the hot tub to our selves and we liked that it was outside. Close to downtown as well as walking trails. The room was comfortable. I loved my stay at Windtower...very friendly staff and comfortable rooms with a fireplace, balcony and mountainview....delicious breakfast on the patio with a beautiful view of the mountains... The 1 bedroom suite was very spacious for 3 adults. The full kitchen and laundry were very nice to have also. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Patio restaurant had amazing views. This is a beautiful resort. It is very well kept. I didn't have time to use the facilities, but I am sure that they are wonderful. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Great location, Canmore is a very nice town, better than Banff from my personal point of view. The staff at the reception is really friendly. Room clean and comfortable. The hotel was very nice, with a nice bar/restaurant located near the lobby. The staff was very helpful and friendly. And the view from the hotel is splendid. They somehow misplaced our order but managed to find us a room and compensate us for the trouble, the hotel is well located and very clean and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and easy to deal with. The hotel was clean and modern. The food in the restaurant was tasty and good value. Everything including the continental breakfast! They aren't. They gave us a floor fan which helped a lot. no chair in the room first day was cont. breakfast Wished breakfast started earlier than 8am- earlier you can beat the mobs on trails or at tourist sites. Disappointed that it was a sad time in the history of their town, yet the townspeople were gracious and resilient. Reminded us of our Katrina. The rain ;). No air conditioning in room which became very hot; room for 1 or 2 people is small; buffet breakfast doesn't start until 8:00 a.m. which is too late if you want to get an early start; 4:00 p.m. check-in is too late after long day of travel. Our room was pretty small. For the price we paid for the suite it seemed kind of petty to charge $5.00 a night for parking, just add the $5.00 to the price of the room and say free parking. Very minor complaint. The room that I stayed in was VERY small. Just enough room for the bed. I believe that the booking said that it was good for one or two people. Two is pushing it. Great place though :). The room we stayed in was cramped. The continental breakfast was bland and the same all three days we stayed, at least in terms of the warm food offered. Some variety here would be welcomed. We also had an issue with our room/elevator cards each day, almost as if they were reset each day. The breakfast is pretty big but very low quality. Readymade pancaked and plae looking burger patties. Could do better if thwy focus more on the quality and less on thw quantity. Nothing. Nothing. Should have booked more nights:). The thermostat did not work in our room and it was extremely hot. This is an ongoing problem as they had a portable fan and an overhead fan. The desk's explanation about radiant floor heat not able to be controlled seemed a little far fetched since you would think it is more economical to rectify this problem then paying higher heating bills. Room 240... We slept with the window fully opened in the mountains in mid October. nothing negative. Nothing. Located approximately 20mins walk from Canmore town centre. Shower temp was either hot or cold. N/A. A bit too far from town centre and close to highway. More expensive than expected Inconvenient parking on the road and additional parking fee. Room is small and dusty. (That's OK.). A little off from the main downtown area but still within walking distance. Our room backed onto the trans Canada highway.. A little noisy!. fee for inside parking. Lack of steam room or sauna. Hot tub is very Individual liking. -rooms quite small - hard to find a place to put lap top. Room was quite small. Rooms are not so well sound-proof. Our room was close to the TransCanada highway, and although it didn't keep us up at night, you could hear the traffic noise. Smaller rooms. The garage door scanner. It was finicky. It is difficult to open the door to get out of the parkade on a motorbike. Someone had to press onthe "OPEn" button. highway traffic noise ac/heat not effective. No breckfast before 8am A little too pricey. Breakfast was very plain. Street parking only. Breakfast should contain some vegitables. one cup coffee maker in a double room!!!!!. That the lounge charged entry for guests staying at the hotel.
