We went with two families and the units were perfect for us to be together but still have our own space. I loved the fact that it had a kitchen which allowed us to bring all our own food, and make the vacation affordable. The room rates were also fantastic given how spacious the units are. We all love it! nice place, first time stay, it was good to go with my family and my kids, the room was big and clean. I love the kitchen, it got all you need, just bring food. I will book this resort again.
所有评语 » The unit we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, offering us places to go for dinner. We also did not know what. Nice facility. Close to lifts made skiing convienent and easy. Very nice staff. Overall very satisfied of the location and service. I liked the loft, the fact tht the rooms were not in a traditional motel room format. I liked that it was a mini house. The unit was great. Very clean and comfortable. Nice, affordable accomodations. Staff were helpful with directions. Very well equipped, pleasant decor, comfortable - a great family vacation spot. Stove and fridge. Two bathrooms. Very roomy for four people. Close to village. We love the location and The fact that there is a Village that offers entertainment @ night. the location was good. the kitchen was good and well equipped. Convenient location, nice layout, pool was nice. Close to the village Price was reasonable. Location close to Blue Mountain Village. The location, the appartment. The location was good. Great Location. Proximity to Blue Nice pool & jacuzzi. A very small thing is that I wished the units had a table in them that we could all eat at. Having said that, upon request they supplied a folding table which handled this issue. Also, the hot tub didn't look very well maintained so we didn't go in it, and the pool was locked before 8:00 p.m. which was a bit too early. The one area that needs to be worked on is the door locks. We had difficutly entering into our unit. A little tempermental. Also, better kettles to boil water. The are quite outdated. Took a long time to boil water and it doesn't turn off automatially, could be a fire hazard if someone leaves it unattended. Should have stayed longer. I would have liked more options when booking. That we didn't have time to do more when we were there (my business trip kept me too busy). Door locks were a little trying at times. TV didn't work. Phoned front desk but problem wasn't resolved during the two days and two nights we were there. Internet didn't work as advertised. The room was hard to find when we arrived in the dark. The outside light wasn't working. The outside deck was jammed with outdoor furniture and was not usable. Although the value was good, the experience on the whole was very disappointing. Beds were not up to par. The website we booked with quoted our room at 50.00 less the day before we checked in. And the hotel wouldnt price match the lowered online price . There were a couple of problems with the room ex. phone was out of order. That we had to wait (hours)for 2 new rooms when our rooms were flooding from a water tank and toilet problem. No one on site early in the morning (6:30 AM) to help with the problem. Had to wait until 9 AM. Didn't get into our new rooms until later in the afternoon. The hair dryer did not work (those kinds of small mishaps should be checked regularly) and the receptionist was totally rude, unwelcoming and clearly should not be working as a receptionist representing the company as the first person we met. A huge turn off. 1. phone in room not working 2. the hood fan not attached to outside so all cooking odours lingered in room and added to discomfort 3. staff not sure what activites available in area 4. mis-information about shuttle to blue mountain....told to wait at end of drive but never came, staff not sure where it picked up etc. The outside looked run down and in need of fresh paint on the doors and railings. condo needs fresh coat of paint both inside & out, all phones were disconnected but wasn't told until I went to front desk to inquire, not enough pillow cases, no tea kettle in kitchen. Room was not as advertised; 2 Queen Beds + Sofa Bed was actually 1 Queen Bed + 2 Sofa Beds. Except the 2nd sofa bed could not pull out. Not enough linens; didn't want to pay extra for more sheets. Hot water and hair dryer not working and the house phone too. very disappointing. The linens were awful. The duvet in our room was like sleeping with an old straw mat. The towels and linens were sparse and very worn. The pullout bed was very uncomfortable and the blanket old. The heater in the bathroom didn't work. The beds were very uncomfortable, hot tub was not very clean. Older building and rooms needs some repair. Nosy you could easily hear the neighbours. Missing shower curtain and asked for one but it was never brought to us. Wifi did not work. No housekeeping and had to remove our own garbage and recycle. The bed was very uncomfortable & decor was dated. Would have liked to sit on the deck outside the room but it had a lot of spider webs & the chairs needed to be cleaned off. The building itself could use a bit of TLC...paint & general freshening up. No usable internet in the appartment. The staff was not professional. There were a lot of young groups, and the property was very loud. Furniture was outdated and deck was a mess. Also, air conditioner did not work properly. We booked a suite with a loft that indicated it slept 6. Tiny common area and a horribly uncomfortable pull out couch. The room was also in rough shape - Knicks in walls, old yucky carpet. Too expensive for what you get. Pet hair all around the carpet even tho when booked it said no pets. hotel doesn't provide coffee or tea in the rooms. hot water tank so small, that hot water runs out really fast. one day there was no water at all. there was no sound proof that you can hear peolpe talking next unit. 1.Spent 2 nights at the resort. Had questions for front desk (ie..did not have sheets for bed, wi-fi etc...Called Front Desk continiously during my stay and not once did they answer. Left message and no follow- up. Very disapointed. 2. Room above us palyed extremely loud music until 3:30 am.- again could not get a hold of anyone (front desk). there are no wifi at all. The worst attention to client received from the staff of the Mountain Springs Resort. I didn't like that my fridge didn't work and I lost $200.00 in food. When I told the front desk they did nothing for me. Too much of a party atmosphere - not a very good place for families. Cleanliness of the buildings and surroundings Aesthetically needs more work. The room and linens were not very clean (a lot of stains on the sheets, carpet) and the beds were absolutely horrible for comfort. Very hard. Not a good nights sleep for any of us. Filthy ( as in dirty towels from previous renters piled in the closet, floor and counter tops were filthy - we cleaned the unit ourselves before we could be comfortable in it. No internet Staff didn't care. Room was extremely Cold. We walked in and it was 50degreese. We had to use stove to help warm up room, took hours! Room was dark and dingy. Consier left at 10pm. Had no one to help with heat. Hot water stopped frequently. No battery in TV remote controller and Clock. Only one bath towel. Not professional stuff; No room service in a time of stay; Pool open from 10am only;. needs up keep in and outside, not clean, poor wifi, no phone. Our Room was totally worn out Front steps , frt door , bathroom furniture. Not worth $200 per night.No overnight security , parties going on until 3am , no frt desk person @ 9am Sunday morning to check out. People standing around wondering what to do with their keys. Very poorly maintained and managed. The staff when we arrived on Friday very nice, check out time on Sunday, the clerk was rude and unfriendly. The sofa bed wasn’t comfortable, lack of privacy; worker started their work at the roof at 9 am.
