  We loved the Pousada do Vale, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic (fish night is a real treat) and although the bed was uncomfortable the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean! Their gardens are beautiful but beware the mozzies! The staff was friendly, professional, flexible, and made sure we had activities we liked. The food was excellent (fresh juice from fruits in the garden) and everyone was kind.
