  Location was excellent if you have a car -- a 2-3 minute drive to the edge of the historic area. The pousada is right on the river, which you can see from both the pool and the open-air restaurant. The breakfast was very good - great variety of fruits, juices, breads, cheeses, all served al fresco with small cute monkeys watching from surrounding trees.   The hotel is literally a stone's throw from Paraty Bus Station. A 3 min walk from the Historic Centre. Though the staff spoke very little English, they certainly possessed a customer-friendly mindset throughout. A good breakfast spread although the options for Eggs are limited. Strangely, the bar rates/prices seem very economical as well. - My stay at Pousada do Principe in Paraty was very good. Reception and all the people working there where so very kind and helpful. Breakfast was everyday perfect. Room was great and the pool as fantastic. The Pousada is located in the center of Paraty, very close to the busstation. Thank you very much for a very nice stay.
