  The Aratinga Inn was a fantastic choice! Rennie and her staff are wonderful and so helpful. She helped us figure out the best activities to do on the island, and provided such wonderful breakfasts each morning. Afternoon tea/coffee time was tasty too! And it's just far away enough that it's incredibly quiet and makes it easy to fall asleep! Definitely staying - I really liked my time at Aratinga Inn, everything was perfect. They have great staff and very clean rooms. The breakfast is very good with a variety of breads and hot dishes each day and also a big selection of teas. Also, one of my favorite thing about Aratinga Inn is the tea time, that is served in the afternoon (4-6pm) with cake, bread and also a delicious soup. Last but not least , the owner is a really nice person that gives great suggestions of activities and where to eat on the island.

We were with another family and between us we had two toddlers. Our children were made to feel very welcome and the chef's made child friendly meals which we really appreciated.   Stayed there last weekrend, I'm Irish and my boyfriend is English. we thought it was great. Excellent value for money and the Poussada is right on the beach which was lovely. We stayed in a beach front room which was R$150 per night and we - The absolute highlight of our trip around Argentina and Brazil. Meme and Priscilla were so welcoming and helpful and couldn't have done more to make us comfortable. A lovely atmosphere and a wonderfully furnished room directly overlooking the sea. A fantastic beachfront location, in a quiet location but just moments from the town and pier. Would recommend to anyone - the best placed pousada in Ilha Grande.

  Our stay at Pousada Caiçara was excellent and after we arrived we were very pleased of choosing to stay there. The Pousada is close enough to Abrão's center, but far enough from all it's movement and noise. The rooms are spacious and perfectly clean. The staff is always smiling, helpful and friendly.   On our backpacker budget there hasn't been much room for 'luxury' and while Cauca wasn't the Ritz, we were thrilled with the setting and comfort that came with pushing the boat out a little further on spend.   This was our favourite place out of the dozen or so we stayed in during our month in Brazil. Our room - with two balconies, a hammock and a private bathroom with a hot shower - was immaculately clean and comfortable. Rooms with a hammock and they provide many activities should it rain such as a games room and tv area. Plus each room has DVDs and a library.
