It is an interesting, old building which has been well-updated with modern interior design and beautifully chosen fittings. Our bathroom, in particular, was sumptuous! The bed was comfortable and the storage space was the most we have ever seen in a B&B. A very good breakfast with a good selection of food and a bottomless coffee pot. The entire hotel is characterful, with touches of humour - our room was not numbered but called 'Jazz'.
所有评语 » Friendly staff, great rooms (we stayed in 'Pop' which had an orange feature wall with a picture of The Beatles on the wall), comfy beds, great breakfast, secure onsite parking (book in advance, there are only 4 spaces), great location, easy to find with sat nav, close to centre of town. The hotel had a fabulous modern design within the shell of an 18th century building. It was very comfortable and centrally located. I recommend the hotel. Very quiet for a city hotel. Garage parking (at extra cost) an added bonus. Breakfast wonderful!. Rooms clean and comfortable Breakfast good choice Good location for center Tournai. The facilities of the lounge and breakfast room and the room and bathroom. Breakfast. location. The bath was somewhat slippery for showering unless one held on to the pipework - it could have done with a non-slip mat or coating. We were on the second floor and there wasn't a lift. Not a critical problem but it discouraged too many trips up to the room!. The hotel has only very limited reserved parking and could do with trying to find some more. Nothing, this hotel ticks all the boxes. Unless prebooked car parking is a problem double check prebooking to ensure you a parking space. Only one room key was available, which is a problem if two adults want to go their own way and come back at different times. The desk is manned 24/7 however. Very hot room. Breakfast was thin. No restaurant in the hotel and many places closed on sunday and monday. Uncomfortable chairs in the rooms. Felt a bit understaffed. Room was dark and cramped though sold as a superior room. No lift. Attic room was noisy from street traffic on cobbles. There was nothing on the breakfast buffet at 9.00 and there was still nothing there when we left 9.30. We had to sit in the foyer for "breakfast" as the small breakfast room was full. On arrival the staff knew nothing of our reservation. Luckily a room was available. Coffee at breakfast was poor. You had to pay for wifi, when it was free at other hotels costing less to stay. Room was dismal. No elevator. No airco. Very noisy road. WC being seperate from bathroom with no sink.
