  We had an outstanding experience. Our hostess could not have been more helpful and considerate. The baked goods were delicious, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and convenient (we were able to return for lunch on two days) and the opportunity to park (in and out free) was a pleasant surprise.

  Seeking a romantic night away for 2, we stayed in Natalie and Pieter’s Ypres B&B early September. Having been totally awe struck by the beauty of Ypres and finding the B&B just 2 minutes walk from the main plaza in a quiet side street, we were equally delighted with both the location and welcome we received at Fields of Gold.   After spending 3 nights at Sonja's b&b we are so relaxed & refreshed. The location of the b&b is perfect & we felt sorry for those who booked right in the centre of the tourist zone as that isn't the real brugge. The room was lovely with details like fresh flowers and candles and it had a very comfortable bed. We had huge and delicious breakfasts after two very good and quiet nights' sleep. Sonja was generally good humoured and took the time to answer our questions, recommending restaurants and telling us about the local area. This personal service is something that you just wouldn't get in a hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to return on my next visit

Her name is Hilda and she is the co-owner of this fantastic B&B with her husband. I have never met an owner that was more genuine and kind than this lady.
