The dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent. I had a course of dinner served with half lobster, monkfish and dessert for 40 Euros per head only. Very satisfied with quality of food and the atmosphere. The Hotel is at 10 minutes driving distance from Brugge which was just perfect for my family.
Very stylish, modern,comfortable conversion of the old abbey buildings. The food is very good, especially the home-produced steaks, cooked on the great open fire.

Ground floor rooms, dog friendly (plenty of safe walking), nice restaurant, proximity to ferry port. Superb breakfast.
the old abbaye is very pretty and it is worth to see this west-flandern region, which this hotel perfectly represents.

Beautifully restored old abby with all modern coveniences. We had our dog with us and they gave us a ground floor room. Lively courtyard restaurant with people coming and going which gave a very nice atmosphere. The last day we were ther the Dutch Triumph group arrived with about 20 classic cars. Lovely staff.
Location for ferry port, good for walking dogs. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful buildings.
Not much. We had very comfortable and pleasant weekend.
Breakfast was served at too leisurely a pace. The cooked items appeared well over half an hour after opening time. OK, it was a Saturday but we had a busy day ahead.
In what is actually the best room, the bed and bath are upstairs of the sitting room, loo, shower and basin. But when in the bath you realise that the soap and towels are all downstairs.
no sleep the whole night because of the cows, making an impossible noise, the whole night through!.
The food is good buth no more. Too expensive for what you get.
toilet was not very clean little bit smelly room mosquitoes at night despite mosquitogaze in window with window open railroad noise at night.
Noise from adjacent room and trains. Dinner not as enjoyable as last time. 40 euro charge for two dogs in the room was a bit excessive. Didn't have any of these problems on previous visit!!.
