On arrival at the hotel (3 hours before official check-in) we were
warmly welcomed, our luggage stored and given a map and some advise on
exploring the local area.

We had read a few conflicting reviews about the hotel when booking and I have to say (having worked in 5 star hotels in the UK for 15 years) I could not fault a thing!
If we are to return to Brussels I would not look anywhere els -
Great location! Very close to the centrum and train station. The hotel
is surrounded by several great bars and restaurants. Staff was very
professional and accommodating. We arrived after the kitchen quite late
and the bartender/receptionist were very helpful in providing late
night snacks and drinks -- great staff! Free wifi with reasonable speed.
Breakfast was great, although a bit expensive (20 euro) if not reserved
in advanced.

This place was great! Edmund (one of the people who lives there) came by and gave us advice on where to go out, and what was fun to do. The neighborhood is really cool, and my sister and I felt totally safe walking around. The room was a nice, quiet place to rest after long days of walking and sight-seeing. i would recommend it to anyone! -

Our experience was excellent from every aspect: location, cleanliness of the rooms, staff, service. It's in a great position in the centre - not too far from anything but not at all noisy. We loved our room, great bed, bathroom etc... and the breakfast buffet in the morning was terrific. The rooftop patio was beautiful and we relaxed up there late at night with a glass of vino and remarked what a great hotel it would be for a swanky event. Highly highly recommend.
