very personal, friendly and welcoming. made us feel very much at home. Very unlike a "chain" hotel which is what we were keen to avoid. The special environment. Not a standard hotel room and a very pleasant owner. Small scale in the middle of Antwerp.Location, service, food, very friendly staff. The owner and his son were very nice and made us feel at home. Good location, delightful characters and an atypical; but interesting arrangement. It should be great when actually completed.A convenient bed and breakfast hotel very near the centre of Antwerp. Very charming in a shabby chic sort of way. The BandB is very much a work in progress. It would better be described as a room for rent in a house under renovation. For a BandB I would have expected more of the common spaces to be usable. As it was, the price was much too high.Staircase rather steep and uneven when on the top floor. The bed a little creaky but comfortable and large in our room. Breakfast not served at the hotel, but restaurant fairly convenient and provided a delicious meal. Didn't eat in the restaurant but looked first class.
