I fell in love with their traditional Alp’s house when I was looking at accommodations in St. Wolfgang. They had spectacular views over St. Wolfgang lake, everything surrounding looked like in fairy tale. The host was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself sits in a very quiet area off the town centre, even with a bit extra drive from town centre, we found it was great place to enjoy our holiday. Apartment was very cozy with fully equipped kitchen, TV with English channels, free Wifi. Sh.
所有评语 » Great hotel!!! It's my favorite in my whole trip! The room is so nice that has a wonderful lake view and big balcony. The garden of hotel can directly link to the lake. You can go swimming or have a relax with sunshine. And also they have a small boat that you can use for free!!! The breakfast is good and the staff is really nice. Of course room is very clean and cozy. I've already recommend this hotel to all my friends. This is a fantastic choice if you want to be in the heart of the country. Fantastic views, peaceful and quiet. Excellent location to head up the mountains. This is located in Reid a 40-min walk outside of Wolfgang, the bus does stop nearby. The host is a riot and will only add to your enjoyment of Austria. Highly recommend staying here. I stayed at their apartment. The room was huge, beautifully decorated and the view was wonderful. The host was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our time so much and wish to stay a night more. It is the wonderful choice in st. Wolfgang if you have a car. Definitely!. Family style accommodation: kept in a very traditional style which some people will love (some hate), bed very comfortable, nice view of the lake. Good breakfast. Interaction with locals which is nice when staying in a place like that. ●wow ! location ●superb apartment with superlative views of wolfgangsee. ●annemarie is very helpful n warm-It was so motivating to see her put in so much of effort and heart in running this place. ●Would love to be back some day. The location of this lovely Guesthouse. The friendly owners who are always so helpful. A beautiful spot to have a holiday. Will definitely go there again. the lake view is outstanding, especially the moment when you wake up and open the window u will see the sunshine go through the water, really enjoyable. Excellent lake view and nice furniture. peacfull,nice and beautifull. I like evrything. We stayed 4 nights in summer and very much enjoyed Haus Windhager. The lake and views are magnificent, very peaceful. We loved using the rowing boat and also the bikes. The hostess is lovely and speaks English well. My son was able to have his own single room next to ours which he loved. The area is picturesque and people friendly. We recommend a few days stay!. Quiet location and Uma was nice. We got the small room in the back which hardly had the lakeview as was advertised. They say it's 44 square meters when in fact it's less than 20 square meters. They said it was a vacation apartment when in fact it was a cramped bedroom and one closet which was converted to a cot bed for my daughter. Avoid this dump. AnneMarie, the host, was rude and sulky when I decided to leave early. The windows curtains should be much thicker to protect from sun in the morning. There was also constant beeping noise below the room I was staying at, maybe some kind of device that make it hard to sleep. The door to the room is wooden and does not protect from the noise from outside. Balcony is nice but does not provide privacy (others can look into your room from their balconies). There wasn't anything I did not liked. Lovely family. the parking is not very good . at 7 pm everything is closed in the town. The bus will drop you at the door but only at certain times. If you don't have a car you must walk to the ferry or ride the bikes into town. There is a restaurant nearby though. TV channels are in German, Austria does not seem to have much English programming. My son enjoyed cartoons in German anyway, and we had plenty else to do.
