The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a reasonable size, clean and comfortable. There was a lift which was convenient. The hotel was easy to reach by car with ample free parking. There was a good selection of food at breakfast. The hotel was in a fairly quiet, location not too far from the city - about 15 minutes from the centre by foot. There was a bus but we did not feel the need to use it. There was an excellent restaurant across the road which served Italian and Pakistani meals.
所有评语 » The accommodation was a short walk to the city centre. The garden was lovely and everything was impeccably clean. Plenty of parking was available and a great selection of tasty options was provided for breakfast. The staff were hospitable and the Salzburg card (which is great value for money - was available for purchase at the front desk. my elderly Mother had a very spacious, comfortable and clean ground floor room which was excellent for her to rest in the day. All the staff were friendly, helpful and respectful. The hotel has a warm family atmosphere which is really appreciated when in a foreign country. very clean hotel with a generous breakfast. Good position, river views, close to Old Town 15 min walk. Friendly staff, varied breakfast selection, I minute to Salt Mine ticket office. Clean, neat, good size of bedroom and bathroom . I requested to change the room for my friend who suddenly decided to visit me. The staff took care of it so nicely and smoothly, that was just perfect. Unfortunately the wifi did not work in our room, so I needed to go down to the lobby which was not as comfortable but at least it worked. Nothing to fault. No tea and coffee in the rooms, we took a kettle tea bags and milk so we were prepared and ok. Free Wifi did not always work. Wi-fi, you need to ask at the reception and they change a password every day, so you need to ask again n again. It would be better if there is wi-fi in every room. WiFi internet did not reach our floor (second). There was no fridge in the room. Wi-fi needs the password all the time. Had to let the water run for a long time to get warm or hot water. The internet is a little obstinate in certain locations. The only down side was the internet was slow & kept timing out, when we were trying to book our next destination. Cant think of anything. no fridge. Guests are responsible for the security of the hotel, as guests are told that the hotel will be locked after a certain time and the guest is to let themselves in and to lock the door after themselves. Also there was a safety risk as there is something blocking the fire exit in the lobby and if a fire were to start during the night guests would struggle to exit the hotel as the main door would be locked and the fire exit blocked. Room's air condition was very poor,even though we open the windows completely,sleeping was so hard.Hotel is not so close to city center,you have to walk around 15 minutes if you are fast.Normally it takes around 20 25 minutes by walking from the hotel. I didn't appreciate the fact that on two instances met members of the family running this business on the hallway and it was me who had to move to give them way. Shouldn't it be the other way around? And how hard can it be to smile to your customers? Service eith a smile goes a long way!. Wifi internet connection is poor. Too much street noise. Bed not comfortable - had 4" thick foam, with no mattress underneath. Detached staff, a bit soul-less, smallish room and bathroom, old TV. bit out of the way. The staff is helpful although a bit cold. Towels were too small and very hard! Lack of wifi at the rooms Lack of frigobar and safety box. The man who greeted us was grumpy, didn't know how to smile, and acted like the headmaster of a school for naughty children. We couldn't get drink there at 9pm as he decided other guests were too loud and stopped serving. The staff can't give a warm welcome to guests from faraway sites. At this hotel, you can find a very very old TV set. It is more like a motel of 2 stars on a city ring. Unfortunately we staid in the room with street view - a lot of cars and trucks. Good that it was only one night.
