Really helpful staff, good communications, good pricing, very comfortable, clean and quiet, well planned facilities, comfortable, ran 100km from Tumbarumba on forest trails so I just wanted to get in, shower, relax, and have quiet and comfort. The staff made sure that everything was in order and easy to access. They were great. I'd definitely stay at the Merivale again. Loved the room, it was nice and modern. It was close to town too. I also liked that the owners rung to confirm and also pre booked us in and sent a text with details of how to get our key after hours as we were arriving around 6pm. Little extras such as leaving some breakfast for us and heated towel racks and foxtel made this a great value stay.

Very rare to get fresh bread, Milk and breakfast in your room.++++ We booked two rooms and our mother and father were also very impressed with the rooms. It's a lovely place, newly renovated, snacks, milk, and bread was provided, and thet left a bag of Easter chocolate as well as the receipt. They are so sweet.... I'd go back to stay there next time if I travel to Tumut again. Family Celebration. Perfect place to stay. Extremely happy with all that was offered. Second visit, will definitely book again. Convienient to access room after hours. Warm floors in bathroom was great. Didn't know the towel rack was heated until the morning and then it was to late to turn on. Very clean and modern room, with aiircon, TV and kitchen facilities. Parking just outside, in a quiet spot just 5 minutes walk from the town centre. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facility very clean, comfortable, close to eating places; loved the heated floor & towel racks; adequate milk supplies appreciated & tea/coffee making & breakfast. Room facilities were excellent especially for the price. Checking in was seamless with no direct staff involvement-the key is a secure box with directions given by phone. The motel was simple andat a good location. Very clean with modern facilities. Clean modern room and bathroom. Free breakfast and internet. Clean rooms, great heating. All of it. Clean, renovated,friendly staff, comfortable bed, self catering facilities if needed, fresh milk,warm floor. Nothing, it was a great room!. Nothing it was perfect. nothing. Leaving. Couldn't fault. The shower handle in room 3 was never screwed on and can come off in your hand. Nothing. It was a little strange not seeing any staff but SMS was very explanatory & I felt that I could ring if this was necessary (fortunately it wasn't). For such good facilities the bath towels were a little on the small size. sound transfer through common walls quite audible. My room was fine but one f my colleagues had trouble sleeping in hers because of light shining in te windw above the door from the car park. Nothing. Nothing really. The noisy neighbours who came back from a wedding at 1am and partied and talked till 4am. bit of a problem with the bread in the breakfast pack. We had to Phone for the code of our room key. We are traveling with a dutch telephone. Were charged for breakfast before we arrived and had no choice as there are no staff on duty. Quoted $75 per night but charged $90. Wasn't enough milk after using it for cereal to have a coffee. N/A. Disappointed with the lack of any space at allto rest cases on or put toiletries on in the bathroom. Only one chair and bedside table and lamp, no kind of table. Frustrating. Realise it was a disabled room and wheelchairs need space but would not book it again for us.
